Short Version
You can make different cp slots to save, load, edit, rename, clone, transfer, export/import between and also has a few trial presets to help get you started.

Everything has tooltips and shows you all the information you need to know without using the actual Champion Perks Default UI, or you can use it in the Champion Perks Default UI.
You can summon the UI with a keybinding or a UI button or a slash command.
Or have it automatically open with Champion Perks Default UI.

The export/import also allows you to share with your friends, and post a readable format for those who don't have the addon.

Detailed Version
Basic Functionality
Shows your current CP.
- You can export this

Shows your custom CPs you build.
- You create these from scratch with the New option.
- Once created you can Rename them.
- You can clone these
- You can import these

Shows your custom CPs you build account wide
- You create these from scratch with the New option.
- Once created you can Rename them.
- You can clone these
- You can import these

Shows you current Trial CPs.
- You can edit these
- You can reset these to the default
- You can import these

Shows you current Trial by Alcast on his website CPs.
- You can edit these
- You can reset these to the default
- You can import these

Each discipline has a checkbox beside it so you can disable it, which means if you Save or load a CP config then it will ignore it entirely.

There is a button to "Preview", which is basically the same as Load except it won't commit your points, thus saving you 3,000 gold if you want to edit some things before committing.

NOTE: If you use preload while inside of the Champion Scene you won't see the Champion numbers itself update.
Preload will also put you in redistribute.
While in redistribute, you can NOT Save.


Edit Boxes
Just click the Edit checkbox and it will reveal a lot of EditBoxes, just type in the number you want and it will update the CP automatically.

However! Do note if you don't have the available amount of points you can NOT enter the number, it will give you the highest available. For example let's say you have 99 points available, and you type in 500, well first off, 500 will be reduced to 100 because you can only have 100 max in one star, then secondly it will check your available, since you only have 99 it will then change it to 99.

The exception to this rule is that if you already have points in a slot, so if you have 56 points in something, and have 0 points available, if you type in 100, it'll give you 56 back, so that you can reduce it to 0 and get those points back, likewise you can type in 1~56 to get how many points you want back.

Jump points and navigation
It will warn you if the current isn't valid with a yellow underline.
While inside of an Edit Box
- Up arrow increase jump
- Down arrow decreases jump
- Tab moves forward an Edit
- Shift Tab/Space moves backwards an Edit
- Enter/Esc loses focus and gives you your mouse back.

So what are jump points?
Well certain trees round down %, so you won't get any benefit until you hit a higher percent, some are not this case however such as bastion EVEN though they are %, but those that do not have that case will just increase 1 or decrease 1 per up/down arrow ( which you can hold down as well )

Transfers
If you aren't in edit mode and you are on one of your CPSlots you'll see a dropdown beside each tree.
When you click this it will expand and you'll see all your CPSlots you currenlty have.
On selection, it will transfer that CP tree to your current tree INSTANTLY.
This is a powerful function but use with care, as you may overwrite your CPSlot if you are just clicking around aimlessly.

Import and Exporting
If you hit the Export button while on Current CP or the Import button while on a CPSlot you'll open a new UI.
While you can copy the CP in both, you can only import in a CPSlot.

Or optionally you CAN use alcast's, although beware some naming he uses may be incorrect, please make note of this and let me know and I'll try to insert a special case, not just for Alcast but any other popular CP sharer.
Also note you can paste the CP Trees names and it will just ignore them. For example...
The Lady 32 Hardy, 56 Elemental Defender, 37 Thick Skinned
The Lady will be ignored entirely.

Options
- Open CPSlot's UI on Champion Perks scene load.
Toggles whether or not you want to show by default when you load the CP scene.
- Show image button to open CPSlot's UI.
Toggles whether or not you want to show the icon that tells you the keybinding and a button to open the UI and move around.
- scale
scale the window

Slash Commands
/cpslotresetalltrials : Reset all the trials to default CP
/cpslotresetallalcast : Reset all the trials by alcast to default CP

Everything has tooltip pretty much, if you are curious or forget something just hover over it.
The window can be moved wherever you want and it'll remember.

If you want your trial CP's to reflect you will need to /resettrialcpslots, note, that this will erase any changes you have made thus far to the trial cps, so if you have done any work you can back up your saved file and I can show you how to manually change them, or just save them to a user CP, which will be easier soon.


V1.2 Fix the things I broke in a refactor, if you made a new User slot in v1.1 just delete it, if you need to salvage it for whatever reason message me and I'll help you. You'll get a UI error if you selected a v1.1 but it's okay, just close it, and delete it, and you should be good, optionally you can just delete the entire save file. VERY SORRY @[email protected]

Ah i see the issue, it doesn't recognize special forms of letters ( that is lua regex I'm using ) such as é and â, I'll see if I can find a regex to match it, if not I'll get back to you with any other solution I may think of.

I think the solution I thought of previously was to use things a blocks and check the edit distance so for example if you type Erosion it's close enough to Érosion, but... that will take a bit to do.

As for Lua their regex is pretty mundane honestly... I'm looking deeper into and it's not very promising...

I'm a little confused at what doesn't work, I will try tonight when i get home with what you posted, I've been playing around with an idea of using edit distance but, I'll get back to you, also not sure what you mean by delete.

I'm also not sure why you got weird behavior at first X_X.

I'll test everything though.

I don't understand how I can save my current build with one click. After reload "save" button seem work. EDIT : This works fine. I don't understand why I got weird behavior in my first try.

When I try import system your addon take don't take all elements. (french)

Hmm... I might do some testing on the PTS and see if I can make a determinant answer as well, I trust the person but I want to do some research myself and what all else I can find, perhaps I can actually look up the actual mitigation values themselves, I'm not sure.

Once I have an answer I will have a setting that is something along the lines of "best practices" which will basically rank the more important trees and put points into those first.

The current order of loading can be determined by :

/script for dis = 1, GetNumChampionDisciplines() do for skill = 1, GetNumChampionDisciplineSkills() - ChampionPointsSlots.IGNORE_SPECIAL_SKILLS do d ( GetChampionSkillName(dis,skill) ) end end

Thanks for letting me know this is pretty big news to me.
Did several tests, it looks like since my addon sets them at the same time it doesn't make a difference, correct me if I'm wrong.

I can't speak for how other addons work or what issues they may incur, however I can explain to you what mine does.

When you load the CP slot it puts you in respec mode, clears all the CP then sets to the current CP.
To allow you to use custom trees ( i.e. only load red instead of blue and green ) it saves it in a temp array and then loads back in the data that is in that array instead of the array you are currently using.

Therefore, there will be no issues in which order they are loaded UNLESS you aren't at max CP which I don't currently handle because I don't have a way to test and because there are several different of how I would go about it.

Also I often just want to load blue + green from one preset and red cp from another without paying 3k gold twice... but it doesnt seem to work reliably to preload multiple?
Right there isn't currently a way to preload multiple options, the respec points only have so many things I can do, and one of them is I can't read what points you have changed, so if you are in respec mode and i try to read the stars, it will give me what your current actual CP is, not the modified CP unsaved.

For this, I added a feature called transfer, it gives you a dropdown beside each tree, so for example, if you want to load vCR but you also want to load a blue and green cp, you would go to vCR OR make a new cp slot, then transfer whichever you want using the dropdowns.

This allows you to build CP slots from multiple trees without having to pay, furthermore you can edit them without having to pay, then once you are done you can load them and only have to pay once.

Of course you can also use the import/export feature as well, but it's a bit more complicated to grab from multiple sources, basically, you would highlight one tree you want and copy it, then you'd find another you want but first paste the on you have in the giant export box so you don't override your current clipboard ( unfortunately I can't set this for you because of safety issues ), then copy the other tree, then paste it and then copy all of it, and then so on and so on until you have the CP you want.

I gave multiple options because different people have different preferences, if you have a preference in mind let me know and I'll attempt to make it happen, but the addon API has limitations of what I can, and can't do sadly.

On similar Addons I read, that there is some bug with changing CP instead of redoing them completely.
Also is the order in which they are put in important.

How does this addon handle it? Anything known?

Also I often just want to load blue + green from one preset and red cp from another without paying 3k gold twice... but it doesnt seem to work reliably to preload multiple?

Do you mean when you unlocked it it should have some sort of notification?

Can you not see it light up whenever that happens instead of being faded out? Or is the difference just not great enough for it to be noticeable?

Or do you mean it should tell you the information whenever you are editing that tree what it does without having to hover over it?

This is intended, you can use the tool outside of the CP menu if you so desire, however, thereis a bug inside the CP code ( ESOUI api not mine ) that the sound will play on load and this will cause it to stop execution, I plan on looking into it an hooking it to stop the error so you don't have to manually confirm, it's intermittent so...

Another thing I thought of doing is if it is in respec mode ( I'm not sure if I can check this I think this was something I tried but I no longer remember ) is that it allows you to cancel respec, so that you don't have to use the default CP ui period, you can just use this tool entirely.

I mean the tooltips are showing just fine but I miss the info when this talents unlock (e.g. when you put 10 points into green)

Yep I've been thinking about this for awhile, version 2.0 is coming and it's a pretty big update, it'll have this in it, thank you for mentioning it and giving me confidence it was a good idea! I'll probably release it today so stay tuned!

Love the updates so far! 3 small things that I noticed:

The cursor when naming the Set I want to save is way of to the right making it impossible to edit a name (not shure if you noticed that or if its a problem when scaling onr or high resolution of the game)

Also i woud prefere to not press enter when editing in CP, like if i set 10 points into this and klick into the next fild it shoud save the 10 points without me having to press enter. Maybe I coud even press tab to save and auto switch into the next slot?

Special stars are missing info when they unlock in the tooltip (10, 30, ...)

Greevir its something which I to have experienced before with pChat. Even with Anti-Spam disabled pChat will shorten messages.

[edit] with pChat and /cpslotexportall, if there are more than 3 name tags & numbers, the last name tag and number will not display. I am pretty sure it's just something pChat does.
Yeah, that was the first thing I thought when I experienced it. Made sure to turn off every anti-spam option there was. Still ended up happening so wanted to make sure it wasn't just something screwed up on my side. Thanks for the confirmation.
Yeah sorry about that, I made an alternative that can get around these issues, a UI specifically for importing and exporting. Let me know how you like it and if there is any issues! I'm short of time to test it but I think I worked everything out.

Something I forgot to mention on the info page, while an edit box is focused you can shift+tab and tab that way you can select what you want with ctrl+c(copy) then go to the import box and ctrl+v(paste) it, then keep going back and forth whether you use ctrl+a(select all) or ctrl-left/right(jump between words) and highlight with shift to select specifics.
