Gold Ledger

Gold Ledger was inspired by Ledger, and serves as a detailed gold manager for ESO. There are a handful of gold managers available on ESOUI of course, but few offer the features that come packaged with Gold Ledger in such a clean and precise manner. Focus has been devoted to making the interface user friendly. There are built in UI elements (optional) for navigation between common game menus and the ledger itself. Gold Ledger comes with various filters for your transaction history and serves as an ideal solution for quickly managing your in-game finances.

A full list of fixes, changes, and additions to Gold Ledger will be documented in the changelog for review at any time. Screenshots are also provided should you want them.

INTRODUCTION

Never lose track of an important transaction again!

Accounting needs done, even in video games. Because if you're not rich then you're poor, right? And to prevent that we keep track of our money to make sure that we're not a loser. While you're having fun is not the time to do that, however. So, what are we to do? How do you have fun and prevent countless hours of meticulous manual accounting? I gotchu, fam.

• Step one: Install this addon with a smile.
• Step two: Behold! There is no step two. You might be done.

• Gold Ledger will keep your transaction history safe and keep you properly informed.
• Whenever there is a new transaction, whether incoming or outgoing, Gold Ledger will keep track of it all.
• Gold Ledger keeps an eye on bank deposits as well.
• History will survive a UI reload or relog (even if you are disconnected by the server).
• Depending on your settings, Gold Ledger will display an inventory menu icon (optional). [NEW!]
• Let Gold Ledger handle the responsibility of logging your transactions!

You will likely open or close Gold Ledger often in future to review history - so I would recommend you set a keybind for this action.

Since I use the same char names it makes it kind of hard to know what is happening. Is there any way you can split out the data so I only see EU while on the EU server and NA while on the NA server? I also login to different accounts on the same computer. I have not tested anything so far about how that works. Again thank you!

Certainly, when I am able to do so I will look at this and include it. Similar requests have been made to amend such behavior into Gold Ledger. When I took over the development of the project (2023/02/06) this behavior did not exist anywhere in the code. I will have to cook up some custom functions to make that work completely as you describe. Currently, the only behavior that exists to segregate deposits into individual entries is the 'Merge Similar' checkbox, which controls whether or not entries within a certain timeframe will appear as separate or combined - however, it does not distinguish between guild sources. In order to include options to segregate further based on guild names, these values would need input into the code and processed as the segment of code runs to display the table of information. This feature is already noted as an addition that will be worked on because it was requested in the past. Thank you for your suggestion/comment.

Hello, thank you for your comment. I think that's understandable and certainly achievable. I will write down the suggestion and potentially incorporate it into a future update, as soon as I have the available time to go over and optimize the merging functions for the data within the table that gets displayed. I believe I know how to accomplish what you are proposing and I will play with it on my end for sure. If/when this feature gets added here you can expect it to be included in the changelogs of course. That's very kind of you to say, thank you! I always love a bit of positive feedback. Gold Ledger's official release date was not long ago (02/06/23). This project will definitely make accounting easier for anyone who chooses to utilize these features.
