Real Bound Armor
Version: 2.3
by: ArtOfShred [More]
REAL Bound Armor

Real Bound Armor allows you to specify an outfit to equip when you toggle Bound Armor & its morphs on, and an outfit to switch back to (or unequip) when you toggle it off. This is instant and it DOES work in combat.

Updated for Greymoor!

Real Bound Armor requires the following libraries are downloaded:
Libraries should be installed standalone like a standard addon, not embedded in the RealBoundArmor folder.
LibAddonMenu

RealBoundArmor is also available on GitHub.

Old video here because its cool, but low quality.

Thanks to Judas Helviaryn from the ESO forums for the request and suggestion responsible for this addon being developed!

Version 2.3:
- Updated API version for Stonethorn.

Version 2.2:
- Updated API version for Greymoor.
- Added a 50ms delay when EVENT_EFFECT_FADED for one of the Bound Armor morphs is detected. This double checks that Bound Armor was actually removed and not just recasted by the player correcting potential issues with the outfit swapping off when this happened.
- Registered a handler for EVENT_PLAYER_ACTIVATED to handle swapping outfits if the player uses a Wayshrine and the buff fades during that timeframe, logs out with the ability on, etc.

Version 2.1:
- Changed the call for LibAddonMenu2.0 to NOT use LibStub.
- Slightly adjusted the addon description.

Version 2.0:
- Updated API version for Dragonhold and incremented the saved variables version to fix an issue with one of the default values.
- Removed old Bound Armor AbilityIds.
- Removed embedded LibAddonMenu, you will have to download LAM now if you don't have it.

I was wondering, could this be expanded for other skills on other classes? Like the Necromancers Bound Armor?

Hey ArtOfShred,

please change the call to LAM2 to not use LibStub anymore as LibStub will be come obsolete one day. The vanilla UI got the ## AddOnVersion: tag in the library txt filkes which does the same.

So please remove this line:
Code:
local LAM2 = LibStub("LibAddonMenu-2.0")
And add this instead:
Code:
local LAM2 = LibAddonMenu2
Most libs got a global variable now so they can be used w/o LibStub!

Updated for Dragonhold! I figured with the duration of Bound Armaments being increased to 40 seconds this addon would have a purpose again.
