Pollox's Daily Quest Tracker  Updated Today!
Version: 1.1
by: Pollox [More]
Get a quick and easy overview of all the daily quests you care about, across all your characters.

Tracks which daily quests you've completed today, and which ones you're still eligible for. Also gives you a timer to show when quests reset. Find out what today's pledges are. See which alts still need to do crafting. Or which Summerset World Boss quests you're still eligible to have shared. Or just to be a daily completionist.

Includes support for the following daily quests:
  • Undaunted Pledges
  • Crafting
  • Daily Random Dungeon
  • Daily Random Battlegrounds
  • Mount Training
  • Morrowind
  • Summerset
  • Clockwork City
  • Thieves Guild
  • Dark Brotherhood
  • Wrothgar
  • Mages Guild, Fighters Guild, and Undaunted Delve
  • Murkmire Prequel (Cyrodilic Collections)
  • Murkmire

To use, first set a keybinding to show/hide the window under the Controls menu. If you have multiple characters, I recommend Votan's Keybinder addon to set the keybinding once for all your characters. You can also toggle the window by using the command /dqt in chat. Then in your addon settings, turn on the quests you want to track.

Note: not compatible with the addon "Daily Quest Tracker". Please disable or uninstall that before enabling this one. It can create a large file in your saved variables folder, which can crash your game.

Dependencies
Lib-AddonMenu 2.0

Limitations
  • It will only track quests you picked up after you installed the addon.
  • The addon currently does not distinguish between a quest you picked up, and one that someone shared with you.
  • You must exit battlegrounds before it will record it. Don't log off directly from the battlegrounds.
  • If you pick up a quest one day, but don't turn it in until the next day, the app will assume you are eligible to do your daily quest still. This is usually true, but in some cases you might get assigned the same daily quest that next day (e.g. same world boss), in which case the game actually won't give you a new daily quest.

It's not necessary to have the addon work, but it would be nice. Assuming you had the addon installed when you picked up the quest, the only reason I know that the check box would not update when you complete the quest is if the translation is wrong, or if the JP translation addon does something different than the way other languages are handled. You could compare the name in your quest journal to the ones in lang/jp_quests.lua and make sure they match.

If you'd like to translate the menus, have a look at jp.lua. I can integrate any translations you have.

Thanks for the translations. I'll include them. I think I will have to install the jp addon myself and figure it out, which will take a bit of time, but I'll work on it.
※I appreciate version UP. I will test it again and report it. Please put in jp.lua if there is no problem.

Can you give some details as to how it doesn't work? Does it not display? Or do the quests not update at all? The best quests to test with are the crafting ones.

The check mark is on when you've completed the quest for that day. It's a blank box when you're still eligible to complete the quest.
For example, I will receive a daily quest with Somerset. Complete the quest. I think that a check mark will be attached when reporting completion, but a check mark will not be attached. The timer is not reset either. The menu will be displayed without any problem on the screen.

Thanks for a great addon!
Battleground and Dungeon random are in progress now, and after that I'll be looking at Rrials (although that is harder for me to test). If you can get me the answers to my questions about those other daily quests, I can add those fairly easily.

1. For Imperial City quests, it says "daily quests will be offered in each of the six Districts" and then it lists 6 quests. Does that mean you can get all six in one day? Or do you get only 1 per day, but can quest share for the rest? Or are they not shareable at all? For example, does it work like pledges, world boss quests, or cyrodillic collections?

2. For Craglorn, it says "Almost all side quests in Craglorn can be repeated daily", and then lists a bunch of quests. Are there any of those that are not repeatable daily? And then I have the same questions about being able to get all of them in one day, and sharing them.

3. For Cyrodiil Towns, again, same questions. I assuming it's 1 quest per quest giver per day.

4. For battlegrounds, do you mean the 20 hour timer for premium rewards, or the quests you pick up from the battlegrounds guy?

I've been debating whether or not to include the special event quests in this, because the rules seem to change from event to event, and I don't want to introduce bugs for the other features by rushing in event changes. https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info...CityEvent.html did a good job with these in the last two events.

Trials, daily battleground, daily random dungeon, and horse timers are all things I'd like to add at some point. They're different from the other types of quests, so it will be a little while before I get to them.

2. It would also be nice to get a section for Trials on the weekly timer.

Thanks again!
