/!\ In a recent update, the “Dialog tweaks” section has been removed, as I made another addon for that.

DESCRIPTION
This addon includes many camera features to enhance the game experience.
Gain total control and enjoy all the world using the camera settings you want (force first or third person, camera position and zoom), depending on what you do.
  • Use bindings to center camera or to swap shoulder.
  • Don't change! ⋅ Prevent the camera to automatically change on interactions (chatting, using craft stations, …).
  • Do change! ⋅ Configure your camera settings for each "event": chatting, riding, stealth, combat, draw/sheath weapon, werewolf...

SHOULDER SWAP PREVIEW
Sometimes, when we're sneaking around corners… Thieves, assassins, or whatever…
It could be nice to have a key to easily change the camera horizontal position, don't you think?
(That was the only thing this addon used to do, when it was just “NTak Camera Swap”.)



BINDINGS
  • Swap camera shoulder side
  • Toggle camera in center position
  • Toggle siege camera

SETTINGS
  • Cross-characters settings
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • Camera distance and horizontal/vertical position (override the regular camera settings)
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • Choose whether to use the transition movement or not when using the keybindings
  • Choose if swapping should stop in center (if using only 1 keybinding: 1 hit to center, 2 hits to swap)
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • Prevent any camera change on interactions : talking to NPCs, using craft stations, lockpicking, reading, siege.
    That really is better for immersion not to change the camera on each interaction! You can't imagine.
    For example, when you talk with someone, the camera won't focus on them.
    (I recommand to allow the camera change for “Stations”, anyway, that's strange to craft without moving.)
    ⋅⋅⋅
  • Automatically change your camera settings when "events" occur: chatting, mounting, in stealth, wielding weapons, in combat, in werewolf form.
  • Preset can be picked between: None / Center camera on 3rd person / Switch to 1st person / Switch to 3rd person / Custom (Do what you want).
  • For some events, there is also a customizable delay before changing back to normal.

You're right, that's a very weird issue !
My addon can't "disconnect" or whatever. It only manages the camera. I don't know what can possibly happen. You don't have any "lua errors" ?
Could you try the following scenarios?

1) After launching the game (with my addon installed), on the character selection screen go to settings/extensions and make sure that you uncheck my addon.
Then go to the Imperial City as always, and tell me what happens…
(That should do the same than disabling the addon and reloading the UI but, well… I don't know.)

2) In game, go to settings/extensions and make sure that you uncheck all addons except mine.
Then, reload UI, go to the Imperial City as always, and tell me what happens…

Anyway…
Sorry to hear that you're encountering that weird issue.
And thank you for your feedback, as I don't play werewolf I was waiting for someone to tell me if it was correctly working.

I don't have access to Imperial City, I won't be able to see the issue by myself.

Disconnect in Imperial City Doors.

Amazing mod! I have one issue though and its very weird.

Thanks for the response! Turns out the issue was an old addon Bankit (2014) was running and after removing that the greyed out menus became available!

I had a feeling it was an addon conflict as I couldn't even click the expand arrow for combat etc, seems all is well now. Haven't played for some time I'm still finding alternatives to outdated/abandoned addons

Hey Zulunia,

That is only a visual indication, meaning that you're not currently using that event !
(It's easier than having to open each menu to know!)
You can still open the menu, and change the preset from "None" to anything you want.

Options greyed out

Hi I've been looking for an addon that does exactly what this does (that changes during combat)!

But lots of options are greyed out, does anyone know what causes this ?

Thanks. I probably incorrectly expressed, excuse me, I'm not against your addon, sometimes I need a standard camera. When I was writing, I was overwhelmed by emotions due to the fact that I didn't know how to restore the default camera.

Well… In my addon, the “Preferred camera” settings override the default camera parameters.

Hi. How to reset the camera to the default settings, because even after removing the add-on camera settings remain unchanged. If they were in the center, they'll stay that way. I'd like to have a standard camera.
