Ah I see, thank you very much for the reply.

Gotta keep faith in the ESO devs to implement some sort of thing to de-activate combat music

Thanks!

Sadly it's not possible for an add-on to replace the music, only to enable/disable it.
Sorry for the minimalistic add-on description. I'll update it to clarify the behaviour.

The reverse would be possible however, to have the music only play when there is no combat.

Master Volume and Music volume are activated.

1. I enter combat. Combat music plays
2. Combat finished, and the music control is set to off
3. I activate music control and try from step 1 again.

Ive repeated this a couple of times but with no success.

Any ideas? Hearing this combat music all the time ruins it for me

Thanks!

Doesn't work - combat music still plays

I was very excited when I found this addon and I'm so sad it doesn't work.

Tried all kinds of settings but still can't get the stupid combat music to stop playing. I'm really hoping you can fix it. With a game that has such beautiful music, I can't even understand why they'd play that awful repetitive tune in combat to start with.

Doesn't Work

This add-on doesn't work.
It still allows the combat music to come on and then just switches the music control to off when combat ends. Then when I engage combat again it turns the music back on and plays the combat music and then turns the music off when that combat ends.

So what exactly does this do? Plays environment music instead of combat music when in combat?

Ah ok maybe I had music off when the addon was activated, so it toggled it On but in combat.
I set music to play On, and max volume, go into combat, leave combat and it stays off, but I'll time it next time & post results.
Hope I can get this working because the music is great, but that combat drums & "music" sucks.

Yes, for it to work, neither the master volume nor the music volume must be 0.
