Got it working. Friendly advice/sugguestion for macOS
This is a great addon and is working as expected. One thing I had to do that some might not know when installing is making the DownloadNewData.command file executable. The instructions say to just right-click on the file and click open, but that didn't just work for me.
I had to open a terminal and cd to the directory/file and run chmod DownloadNewData.command and then I could right-click and open the file which then opened my terminal and ran the file. Might be helpful to add that for others in case they ran into that issue 1. Use the cd command to navigate to the directory that contains the file. For example, % cd YourScriptDirectory. 2. Enter the chmod command. For example, % chmod YourScriptName.command 3. Right-click on the file and choose open. 4. Your terminal should open and you should see the file execute. Otherwise, great addon and excited to use this! |

Then run DownloadNewData.bat or follow the instructions for DownlaodNewData.ps1? If not it will NEVER work. Seeing the reported issue did multiple tests what you posted is due to being in the wrong area. The AddOns HarvestMap directory/folder must contain the following: Folders: Libs Main Modules Textures (And the following files.) DownloadNewData.bat DownloadNewData.command DownloadNewData.ps1 DownloadData.sh Harvestmap, txt Licence.txt README.txt All the folders contain the content they had or what was transferred and OVERWRITTEN. If not overwritten it potentially WILL NOT WORK. Hope this helps everyone having issues. Edit: @Shinni Thank you and other contributors for another great add on. And fixed a typo in my reply.

Service down - error
I'm also receiving this error after installing today
From the eso forums, older post, the addon creator likely needs to restart the server/services. Seems down. |

Change DownloadNewData.sh
Hello!
How about use basedir=$(dirname "$(dirname "$(dirname "${BASH_SOURCE[0]}")")") instead manual add full path in basedir=basedir_linux DownloadNewData.sh? This removes the responsibility from the user. |

You probably have the addon in the wrong location.
Make sure to place it in THE ROOT of the AddOns folder, just like any other addon. Like: C:\Users\<user_name>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\HarvestMapData

Same here. PC EU I am in Italy and "Impossibile trovare il file specificato" is the Italian version of "The system cannot find the file specified" and "Premere un tasto per continuare" is the Italian version of "Press any key to close this window." Thank you! |

I ran the DownloadNewData.bat and there were no error messages, everything listed as ok with accessing the data and saving it. But then in game 90% of pins are gone. I have only 6 provinces that have harvest pins, the rest are completely empty. The provinces which load pins are Grathwood, Reapers March, Malabal Tor, Greenshade, Khenarti's Roost, and Auridon. I also wanted to note that by picking resources I am able to create new pins. I have manually repopulated the pins in Vvardnefell this way and I have then tried to run DownloadNewData.bat again to see if my pins will be added. But after running the script everything reset back; Vvardnefell is again with 0 pins and only the before mentioned 6 provicens have full pins. Any suggestions where the problems lies? What can I change/try? |

Could you please advise your fix? I am also receiving this error. Have tried running powershell, the batch file, and the batch file with admin privileges from the HarvestMapData folder and in all cases no data is downloaded to the SavedVariables folder
