DESCRIPTION
This addon includes many dialog features, to customize it your way and/or to enhance the game experience.
All-in-one, but without fancy colors or font changes to stick with a sober, simple interface.
( /!\ I recommend to not use a custom UI scale to prevent any improper behaviour. )
  • Customize!
    ⋅ Resize and tweak the dialog window,
    ⋅ Tweak all the content: Title, text, and options,
    ⋅ Add icons and numbers before chat options,
  • Keep history!
    ⋅ Keep an eye on the history of the conversation,
    (I suggest you to vertically shift the window to display more history)
  • Use animation!
    ⋅ Use the text fading animation to make it appear while the NPC is talking,
    ⋅ Customize the speed for regular and some specific dialogs.
  • Specify behavior!
    ⋅ For some specific dialogs, you can mute the NPC, auto-open the store, and speed-up or instantly display the content.

I don't plan to add a "Cyro trader" category, as I'm not confident we can detect for sure a "Cyro trader" based on the dialog options.
My addon Junkee tracks the current zone. If you tracked it, you could tell if the player is in Cyrodiil

Well, that's normal, it's not implemented yet !
It was meant for the future !…

That's my bad. I forgot to remove that not-used-yet keybinding in my last update.

It has a normal store for siege stuff, but it also has access to the owning guild store and other options! So, it should not open automatically like a common merchant. That kind of merchant should be in a separate category.

EDIT: Btw, "Show/hide body text" keybind doesn't work when listening mode is on. :S

I'm gonna add a rule in my code so that it shouldn't auto-open the store if one of the dialog option is a quest start/end.

When talking to Aicessar the Hall Steward for the Fighers Guild in Rimmen, Elsweyr it treats him like a normal vendor and opens his store automatically and mutes his voice. But I'm supposed to get the quest from him!

I'll disable it for the quest, but this is unwanted behavior.

New Update for 'Remove All Text (Listen!)

The new update to 'Remove All Text (Listen!) works perfectly for me! I love using this setting to immerse myself in the world and with the new update it just completes the package, now I can read notes and bulletin boards.
This is by far the best dialogue addon available for ESO and one of the best addons available period. Thanks for keeping it updated!

Hey Phuein,

I bumped my API version and…
I've added a description detection in the "hide text" feature, so that it shouldn't hide the texts that start with specific characters ( < , “ , etc… ) .
Let me know if that works correctly. (Update is pending… But should be available soon!)

As I'm unsure about the texts consistency in ESO, I'll try to add a manual solution too (later).

Hey N'Tak. I love using the "Remove all text (listen!)" option while playing. But it also hides all reading-text that isn't voiced over.

Actually, yes! That's exactly what I was looking for! I apologise, as I didn't realize the repeat option had that functionality too. I have difficulty hearing, so I've often used the repeat option on story dialogue, but never on random NPC chatter. The dialogue text doesn't change, but that's alright.

As I said, it needs some tweaking !…
I intend to name the "repeat" option "restart" or something like that for the first dialog, and, yes, text doesn't change for now. It used to, but there was a problem with it so I removed that.
I'll do someday, soon, if I can !
