The All-in-one Combat Timing bar with the update all of you guys have been waiting for!

Since Darianopolis can no longer maintain the Addon, I will probably do further updates only on the "optional Update", as it is easier for me to maintain. - barny

! Fixed time adjustment on exhausting fatecarver depending on crux
! Fixed: Channeled abilities or abilities with cast time are now interrupted by block, dodgeroll or barswap
! Fixed a bug after resizing the cast bar in unlock mode
+ Added options to display remaining time, spell name and spell icon on cast bar for spells with cast/channel time
+ Remaining time label and spell icon now move according to bar alignment
+ Added option to stop HA tracking
+ Added option to show the cast bar permanently
+ Added fancy mode.

IMPORTANT: I no longer play ESO and can't actively maintain this addon.
I have enabled "Allow Updates & AddOns" if someone wants to keep this release working with new ESO API and library changes.
Anyone is absolutely free to use this addon and adapt, modify or build it into any project you're working on.
I would love to see some version of this addon continue, but I don't have the time or available classes to re-install ESO and properly maintain and bug-fix for all of the different classes and abilities on new builds and changes.
Track your heavy swings, ability cooldowns and cast/channels all in one bar to help you perfect your rotation timing and take advantage of abilty queuing with live latency information.
Now includes optional Ultimate tracking.

To access the addon settings quickly, enter the command /cm

IMPORTANT - This addon and "Combat Auras" SHOULD always be updated at the same time. They share a common library to improve perforamnce, and there is a good chance on any update that I've made changes to this central library.

IMPORTANT: There have been changes to the central library. Combat Auras probably won't work after you updated Combat Metronome!

I'm looking to expand this bar out into a reliable all-in-one combat timer.
I may end up renaming/rebranding the addon as something more accurate once I have the latest experimental functionality up to the reliability I require.

I think the main reason to use this addon should be to allow you to weave immediately after the bar is ended. For now, this is hands down my favorite addon. Good job.

I liked the new name, sounds very cool. About the new features:

1. Loved the bar resize. However, when you increase the size of the bar, you need to click to center horizontally after increasing or decreasing. It would be better if that was automatic or increased to both sides instead.

2. Heavy attack bar and roll bar are a very nice addition.

3. I have no clue what is cache slot abilities. It should have some tooltip.

4. Cast time abilities with 1.0s or more are not working properly. I can't weave immediately after some skills are done, like Channeled Acceleration or Lethal Arrow. That probably has to do with post global cooldown. I would increase the duration of such skills by 0.1s to test if it improves the behavior.

5. Right now, you can only adjust the length (duration) of the bar for all skills. I would like to have the option to customize some skills independently. For example, you could have a menu entry with "Skill Name" and a slider bar, similar to GCD adjust. After changing that, you click "Add to whitelist", and that option will overwrite the default duration of the addon for that ability. There should also be an option to remove an entry from the whitelist, maybe using a combo box.

In regards to your questions

1) I presume you're referencing using the menu sliders to resize the bar? I didn't implement it like that initially 'cause I figured I didn't want that behaviour all the time for the vertical component, and I didn't feel like adding a new set of customizations for changing the anchoring to the screen separately for vertically and horizontally.
I might try implementing this system now that I have most of the other functionality working.

If you're refencing the edge drag - I have no idea how to change that, that's just part of the normal lua ui stuff

3) It's just there because I'm working on its functionality - It essentially snapshots ability information from your action slots and reduces the processing load of the addon. Unless you're getting serious performance issues I would just leave it unticked.
I'll keep developing my caching algorithm and hopefulyl I'll be able to put it into the base addon

4) Are you trying to weave immediately as soon as the bar reaches the ping zone? This doesn't work for casts and heavy attacks, since the timing for those is done locally (as far as I can tell), and the ping doesn't come into consideration. This is especially true for heavy attacks.
I'm considering changing the way that the timing for casts and heavys is done so that the cast finishes when the bar reaches the ping zone - to maintain visual consistency between GCDs and casts so that you always aim to fire you're next ability at the start of the ping zone. I'll probably implement a toggle for this.

Otherwise, and I wouldn't be surprised, it's probably wrong on my end. If so I'll have a look into it. I was testing it out with abilities that have a cast time of ~1sec and had no problems but I haven't got any channelled spells to test xD

5) Nice idea I have an idea for how I would do a menu interface for that. I'll see how quickly I can throw something together.

On first point, I was talking about the slider option. My suggestion is to have the "center horizontaly/verticaly" options as a toggle (on/off). If it is set, then it automaticaly centers again after changing the slider, and locks the bar position in UI.

On fourth point, I tested it with Lethal Arrow and Channeled Acceleration. I tried both casting at ping zone and at empty bar (immediately after completing), and in both cases my light attack didn't go off. It is pretty inconsistent with other skills right now. You might need to level those skills in a character to test it out.

Yeah - I really wanted to add adjustments for instant ability cooldowns in the current version

Unfortunately currently the algorithm I'm using (that I found to be the most reliable for recognising gcds in the first place) triggers off SLOT_STATE_UPDATED, which means you cannot know which ability caused a gcd (because multiple slot states are changed after a single ability often).

Another problem I'm contending with is that abilities like endless hail and caltrops are activated an arbitrary amount of time after the 'slot used' event (iirc). So I can't run off that metric.

I'm looking into combining information from multiple api events so that I can implement this in a later version

Unfortunately currently the algorithm I'm using (that I found to be the most reliable for recognising gcds in the first place) triggers off SLOT_STATE_UPDATED, which means you cannot know which ability caused a gcd (because multiple slot states are changed after a single ability often).

Another problem I'm contending with is that abilities like endless hail and caltrops are activated an arbitrary amount of time after the 'slot used' event (iirc). So I can't run off that metric.

I'm looking into combining information from multiple api events so that I can implement this in a later version
What about HasActivationHighlight? Can it be used for that?

Lightbulb New addon in the works

I'm currently working on a new complementary addon that will augment Combat Metronome with live primary power tracking, ultimate tracking, target execute and eventually aura/icd tracking.

This willl require the creation of a new library for my own UI elements and info scraping, and will be retroactively fitted into Combat Metronome - So I'll have a better base to add more UI polish and features.

But I want to get this new library working so that I can pool information across my new and current addons before I put any work into individual ability GCD adjustments. Which means that feature will most likely come after the release of this new addon.

So I have very noob question. When I use an ability and GCD bar shows up, when can I light attack? Is it when it reaches the "red" bar or before?

You can start your light attack anytime after it hits the red GENERALLY. It should be noted that some abilities, such as AoEs like Endless Hail, require a few more milliseconds of delay.

I'm working on a fine tuning system for different instant abilities but as a general help now you can just increase the "GCD Adjust" if your light attacks aren't going off.

It's also worth noting that I don't know how the system timing works internally - I'm just guessing. I PRESUME it's timed server side (and generally my experience seems to back that up). but if your ping is super high, like 300ms+ I'm not sure how that will affect timing really

Wish I could be more helpful, but I don't really have extensive knowledge of the cooldown weaving mechanics

Hey thanks for the nice addon. I like it a lot.

I just have an issue, that Radiant Oppression (Templar Beam) doesn't seem to work with it: Either no bar appears at all or a CD is shown that is too short for the 1.8s cast time.

I'll look into this - I didn't have any long cast/channel time abilities to test so it's quite likely I'm just missing something.
The latest (1.1.0) update *might* do something about it, but I woudn't bank on it since I didn't touch the cast/channel detection code that much.
