This is my fork of the very useful, but apparently abandoned addon
The Elder Bar by Eldrni.

I took the liberty of rewriting much of its code (fixing some bugs, adding a bit of new functionality and shortening it by 40% by replacing repeated code with function calls…). Since the last version of The Elder Bar (TEB) was 10.3.0, I started numbering versions of The Elder Bar Reloaded from 11.0.0. It is now compatible with API version 100035 (Update 29 "Blackwood").

LibSavedVars is now a mandatory dependency, in addition to LibAddonMenu-2.0 and LibFoodDrinkBuff.
LibClockTST is optional dependency, needed only for showing Tamriel time/date.

Please report bugs in the comments section or directly to me.

Performance Impact?

I have been looking into why my FPS hovers around 138 instead of 144. What I found was that disabling this addon immediately pushed my FPS back north of my 144 target. This is a 4.25% loss. It also makes the game have a kind of micro-stutter of sorts when moving a static object (like a brazier) horizontally across my screen at a mid-range, something I wouldn't have noticed if I wasn't trimming my addon list to fix my FPS.

The addon doesn't feel like it should have such an impact, but it is heavier than the older RAETIA Info Hub addon.

So is there any guesses as to which setting in the addon, or module, is dragging the FPS down? Should the description page even include a mention that it will have a small impact (depending on GPU and CPU) on FPS?

1) delete your SavedVariables/TEB.lua (while NOT in the game)
2) update TEB and all its dependencies to the current versions
3) make sure you don't have another copy of LibAddonMenu-2.0 somewhere - see https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info7-LibAddonMenu.html

TEB UI Error in PVP

Hello!

Every time I enter PVP (either via battleground or via Imperial City) I get a UI error popup that can't be dismissed. Only way I'm able to resolve it is to ALT+F4 the game (I can't open the game settings or anything) and disable the addon from the login screen.

The error message says "Avoiding anchor cycle from [TEBTopBagSpaceIcon] to [TEBTopGold]"

It's not allowing me to change settings... all of the settings just have numerical values that can't be changed, and the drop down menu just shows "PvE Only" or "PvP Only", options of that nature.

There are two different counters - one of the players you killed (ie. the killing blow was yours) and the other for players you helped to kill (ie. you fought them, but someone else killed them). TEB shows the first as "Kills" and the second as "Assists", do you have Assists: 4?
Kills and Assisted Kills, yes, i know it. But ZOS counts the kills and assisted kills not like the elder bar. It's really desirable, that ZOS implement an own kill counter for PvP, I think.

Yes, both the characters I was testing are level 1 vampires, and it looks like non-vamp characters are fine with or without that code enabled. I'll poke at it more when I have time.

Fair enough. Thanks for the tip -- I tried deleting TEB and all of the req libs and reinstalling, no dice.

I eventually starting playing around in the code, and have tracked the issue to the buffs function, somewhere in the block between

I plan to dig in more tomorrow and I'll share anything I figure out.

Well, with no logs or error messages I have very little to work with. Have you read this: https://www.esoui.com/downloads/info7-LibAddonMenu.html ? LibAddonMenu-2.0 is one of TEB's prerequisites, however if this is the problem, an error message should pop up…

Weird crash on UI load

I just returned from a while away from ESO and, after updating everything, was experiencing a CTD every time the UI finished loading. After a lot of experimenting I've narrowed it down to TEB Reloaded. I can load in with everything _except_ TEB loaded with no problems. If I load in with nothing except TEB and its required libraries, crash every time.

I've tried removing the saved variables -- they don't get recreated before the crash. No logs or LUA errors are being generated. I'm puzzled. Any thoughts?

Instead of having it being its own gadget, is there any chance of consolidating it within the Bag Space gadget instead? Have it like: Slots Used/Total Slots(Junk)

kill-counter battlefields

it seems that the kill-counter not works or not works correct at the battlefields. if i was killed, the counter works. but if im killing others, so it seems, the counter works not or not correct. everytime zero.
