by: cyxui [More]
The addon for http://tamrieltradecentre.com/

TTC needs localization help! Current plans is to translate for all official languages (German, French and Japanese). If you are willing to help with the translation please go to google sheet (https://goo.gl/q6xBPq) and fill in the German/French/Japanese Translation Columns as much as you could. Do remember to make a copy in case of conflicts or trolls.. cough cough...

By downloading this addon you agree to the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy

For Mac users and people whos afraid of exe file. Webclient (beta) is available online. Go to http://tamrieltradecentre.com/ and select your region. Click on Addon -> Webclient and follow the instructions

LuaSerializer is now on GitHub https://github.com/alt22247/LuaSerializer

Global trade search tool needs YOUR help.

By running our addon and client. Your guild listings as well as any item you seen by using guild store search function will be automatically upload to the site for other people to search and browse. The collected data will also be used to generate price info for everyone~

If you want to contribute more to the community or if you wish to help boosting up your guild's sale by uploading an entire guild's listings, you are more than welcome to do so!

Here are some screen shoots of the site, addon and client

Install Instruction 

1. Download and unzip the files under ESO addon folder (default is Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns) Or you can install it with Minion
2. When you are playing ESO, run the client executable (client.exe) under Client folder
3. Enjoy the game

For first time of use 

For the first time only, you need to go to bank NPC -> click on Guild Store. A dialog box should pop up asking you to wait while the addon scan existing guild listings. When finished, the "Auto scan completed" dialog will show up
.

Q:How does this addon work?
The addon collects all the item listings that you seen in the guild store and uploads them to the site. The site then uses all the data collected by all players to generate price info for everyone.
You can also use the website to search for the location of an item using way better filter than the default Guild store GUI. But it is not guarantee the item is still there since low price items tends to get sold fast. You will have to use your own judgment based on the last seen column to predict whether its still available.

Q:How is the suggested price calculated?
1. Remove outliers
2. AVG(price of the lowest 30% items) * 0.8

Q:Whats the difference between MM's price and TTC's price?
TTC uses the listing price and the MM uses sold price. By statistic and Economic, those two numbers should align given enough sample set

Q: How fresh is the pricing data?
Very fresh! Naw im kidding, its based on Data from yesterday

Q: How big is TTC
It uses around 6mb of RAM for pricing info and around 20mb at most for entries you have seen.

There is no such feature. TTC just lists prices. There is no sell function, neither manual nor automatically.
It didn't sell it automatically. The addon autofilled the sell price at their suggested price, and then listed the item on their website as being in the store for sale at that price twice before I decided to actually sell it at a higher price, because the price TTC chose was significantly undervalued.

As soon as I disabled TTC the autofilled prices went back to their normal of <1000 gold and I didn't have problem.
TTC doesn't have such feature. You might want to check your other addons and see if they are reading the value from TTC and doing the auto fill for you.

And it seems like you have some misunderstanding of the website as well. Think of it as a readonly snapshot of the market listings at one point of time. Nothing will get on there unless you are selling them in guild store and nothing can be bought directly from the site either.

TTC only posts your own listings to it's website if you are logged in and YOU list anything for any price. As long as you don't list it to the store, TTC will not post any of your items. It posts all other items it has "seen" in the stores you had a look to, even that you dont't like the price other people decide to sell their items. It also didn't post anything immediately, you have to /reloadui or log off the game.

If you sell anything for the first time, the price of the ingame vendors is preselected, that mostly is significant lower then the free market price. This is not a TTC feature, it's build in the game. After you list this item for a self-set price at your guild store and want to sell it a second time, the last price is shown that you listed it (in fact I'm not sure if this is a feature of the AwesomeGuildStore AddOn, perhaps the standard game GUI always preselect the ingame vendors price, however, this has nothing to so with TTC).

As long as you don't list any of your items at your guild store, TTC will post none of your items. TTC will only post all items you have seen while browsing any guild store (after you /reloadui or log off). This is what it is made for. If you select an item while using the guild store and the preselected price is too low in your opinion, change it. At this point nothing is posted to TTCs website. You can change the price as often as you like. Nothing will be posted to the website. But if you drop it to the guild store for sale, TTC will post it, for the price YOU have chosen. This is exactly what TTC is intended to do: listing all prices of all items in all guild stores, even if they are too high or too low. And IF YOU list an item for a low price, I could buy it for this price, so this is the correct behavior.

Scenario:

1.) you own a legendary receipe and want to sell it. The ingame vendor will pay 9 gold. The free market price is 25000 gold. TTC posts nothing.

2.) You enter your guild store, choose the receipe in the inventory. The GUI preselects 9 gold. TTC posts nothing.

3 a) You leave the preselected 9 gold and drop it at the store. The next time you /reloadui or log off TTC will post your 9 gold listing. This is correct, because your item IS listed for sale for that low price.

3 b) You change the preselected price to 25000 gold and drop it at the store. The next time you /reloadui or log off TTC will post your 25000 gold listing. This is correct, because your item IS listed for sale for that high price.

4) Some days later you want to sale the same receipe and enter your guild store. Depending whether you choosed 3 a) or 3 b) or didn't list it last time at your guild store, 9 or 25000 is preselected. TTC posts nothing until you choose 3 a) or 3 b) again.

There are half a million downloads for TTC, tenthousands of people use it every day, billions of items are listed and used for calculation, nobody ever reported such a stupid TTC behavior. Perhaps you may suggest an user error?

Hi,

I was experiencing the same error when I reinstalled ESO and downloaded the latest version of Tamriel Trade Centre. I finally downloaded a previous version of TTC and let it update itself. That worked. So there is some bug in the latest version.
It sounds like you are a victim of a ZOS bug.

The problem is that ESO created two addon and data folders.

Blah nevermind, my shortcut was set to launch it minimized. Problem's fixed.

I've moved the patched files to GitHuib for an easier way to compare and merge the actual TTC version with my patched files. It can be found here:

Download a ZIP file from github:
TTC v3.19, patched for different chat channel languages

Attention:
Be sure to extract the contents of the ZIP file to your Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns folder and then rename the folder "TamrielTradeCentre-Baertram_patched_3_19_including_chat_channel_languages" to "TamrielTradeCentre" !!
Else the game won't find the addon properly.

*push*

Imo this addition in the main addon would really help for those multilingual games like eso.

I would love to see you to incorporate this!!

Until then, thanks to Baertram! And of course for you, to "invent" this really helfpul and lovely addon

yes please delete \Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\TamrielTradeCentre\PriceTable.lua and run the client again. This will force the client to download the latest price table.

I will try to think of a solution for this.
You could put the savedvars to use the server/worldname like this:
Code:
settings = ZO_SavedVars:NewAccountWide(name .. "_Settings", savedVarsVersion, "Settings", defaultSettings, GetWorldName())
Just add GetWorldName() as the profile parameter and the SV table will contain an entry like ["NA Megaserver"] finally containing the settings then.

Users would loose their settings once but there are not that much options to re-setup I guess.
Or you could even migrate them by first loading them to a variable, ZO_DeepTableCpy them to "defaultSettings" and use "defaultSettings" for the new server dependet SVs then as defaults.

The client would need to update the pricetable accordingly by using GetWorldName() as well.
