Postmaster  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)
Version: 1.4
by: Zierk [More]
Postmaster is a mail enhancement addon for the Elder Scrolls Online designed to give players a streamlined way to quickly loot and delete mail.

Features:
• Displays a custom frame when opening the mailbox, hides the frame when mailbox is closed
• Postmaster frame is movable and will save its position across /reloaduis and logouts
• The 'Take' button will fully loot and delete the currently selected mail in your inbox
• The 'TakeAll' button will fully loot and delete ALL mails in your inbox
• Now supports keybinding with fully functional custom keybind strip on mail inbox window

Why I made this addon:
I created this addon because I was tired of having to hit the E + X buttons to be able to get the money or attachments and delete the mail that were in my inbox. As a market entrepreneur this becomes a tedious task in itself when you log into dozens of mails in your inbox.

This addon is still in active development by Zierk, and will continue to evolve and improve to become ESO's leading mail addon. Several more features are planned for the near future. Stay tuned!

Slash commands:
/postmaster
/pm
**Slash commands display in-game chat help regarding the general use of the addon.

How to manually install Postmaster:
Extract the Postmaster folder from the .zip file and place into your ESO Addons folder located in My Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live(liveeu)/Addons. Mac users should use Documents/Elder Scrolls Online/live(liveeu)/Addons.

You should now have the "Postmaster" folder located inside your Addons folder.
Ensure Postmaster is enabled in your Add-On settings inside ESO.

Special thanks: Vigilant Addiction and Mostly Harmless guild members for spamming me with mails attached with 1g for testing during 1.0 development.

needs some fixin'

I love the idea but if I move the cursor over a mail to see what was in it --- it breaks the app.

I have to click Take or Take all on the first message that I'm opening or it doesn't work.

Also, the other day, someone sent me a letter ( don't know who ) and I clicked on it but it didn't open so I clicked Take in Postmaster and the letter disappeared and I have no idea what happened to it. It doesn't seem to be in my Inbox and I think it was destroyed.

You cannot open ANY email or the app fails if you open one manually, even previewing the attachments makes the app fail.

Hope you can fix this.

Small Conflict.

Are you still looking to keep this updated Zierk? This addon has a small conflict with the addon MailR where the copy of the sent mail that MailR places in your mailbox breaks the 'take all' feature of this addon. I will edit once I grab the specific error related to this addon.

EDIT: Using BugEater, here is the error output, it can be duplicated reliably when you have a MailR 'receipt' in your inbox and multiple items ready for retrieval (Example: Hireling mail)

Code:
Checking type on argument mailId failed in TakeMailAttachedItems_lua
stack traceback:
	[C]: in function 'TakeMailAttachedItems'
	user:/AddOns/Postmaster/Postmaster.lua:66: in function 'pProcessMailQueue'
	user:/AddOns/Postmaster/Postmaster.lua:103: in function 'pTakeAll'
	:1: in function '(main chunk)'

Oh sorry forgot to insert a "the". I meant the take and take all buttons.

Yes, the function to call DeleteMail(id64 mailId, bool forceDelete) has explicitly been instructed to set forceDelete to false. So if there is any item attachments or money attached then it will not delete the mail.
kickass. thank u sir
