Survey Zone List  Popular! (More than 5000 hits)

Track all survey in the character bag and display it by zone name.

I create this addon because when I do surveys, I do it zone by zone and it annoy me each time to have to check in my bag if I have really finished a zone (superposition of pins) and what is the next zone.

You can show/hide the UI by a keybinds, or with commands /surveyzonelist or /szl

I have added treasure map into the list by request, but for the moment, the "next zone" info displayed on the second line ignores treasure map count.

Dependency :
Features :
  • Add an UI which display all zone name where you have a survey or treasure map, the unique number and the total number of survey in each zone.
  • You can configure how the sort is done
  • You can change the text displayed
  • You can configure a keybind to show/hide the UI
  • Show the number of node recolted on the spot
  • Show the number of survey on the current spot, or if you can move of spot or zone
  • Show an icon on the node if it's a survey node
  • Display an alert, and/or play a sound when the spot is finished

Known issue :
  • When the "display with world map" in enabled and the map opened, the list is displayed behind the map.

Next feature :
  • Configure the UI (background, color, font, etc)

If you want other features, you can ask in comment or on github.

Supported languages are English and French.
If you want to help add others languages, you can send translations in comment or on github.

Hey,

Yes it's a great idea, I did have the case yesterday when I did my surveys, while doing them I realized I had not checked my champion point

I add it to the todolist on github

Hey again! I was thinking a new feature:

An option, when turned on, you would see a warning on the tracker, that you don't have Plentiful Harvest champion perk slotted currently.

Pulling from Bank

Is there a way to get it so it shows how many of each you have in your bank? So instead of having to fill my inventory with them to decide what order to go in, I can just turn the addon on, see how many in each zone and pull from bank as I go?

This is really awesome, appreciate all the hard work you've put into it!

No it's not possible to know that with the current API, but I will love to have the infos too

It's a task I have in the todo-list on github. So a day when I will have the time to do it, or if someone wants to do it and create a PR on the github repository.
But currently, unfortunately, I don't have time to do it

Indicate when spot is reset?

Any way to add a tone in the app or other indicator when the zone is reset after being cleared? It is not always clear how far to go to reset the area.

Hi Daimon.
Not need to be sorry for my health issues, it's not new and have health problems don't bother me, I'm ok with that now (thanks to disabled activists on social networks). I just need to continue to learn to live with (rather than forcing and pretending there is nothing) and to know better my "new" (but not so new) limits.

I understand no one did a harvest counter before, it was not so easy to do
I am thinking about extract it from the addon and create a lib with this system, maybe it may interest others addon's authors...
Anyway, I'm really glad this update was liked

Thanks for the suggestion list, if I'm bored this summer, I will know what to do
But I have other addons to update before (like work on my worldEvent lib to manage Harrowstorms, or fix issues in WritStylePrice), and also some addon I want to do a day.
But yes, I will add your suggestions to the list, if I have the time, or if someone wants to do it (the github is public).

About customise the UI, I have not forgotten the suggestion do many months ago, I have created the "issue" on the github, it will be done a day.
About other suggestions, yes I can add an option to only see the current zone and another to hide the harvest's counter when the spot is done.
For the zone detail, I want to add it, but not condition it on the presence or not of the whole list, so I need to think about it, but yes, it's something I want to add a day.

Thanks about the issue alert on Western Skyrim, I've seen that on eso's discords (esofr and guilds). However I have forgotten it when I tested last time, but I was lucky, I not get the issue

About to have an EP/AD/DC/DLC sort option, it's complicated because the game not give me so much info from survey or treasure map. I extract the zone name from the item name and sometimes it's not the real zone name, like "Alik'r" instead of "Alik'r desert" or "Orsinium" instead of "Wrothgar". So because of that, know the "category" of the map is not easy (not impossible, but not easy).
Maybe a day, but for the moment, I prefer not to do that. However, if someone wants to create the list (and also maybe keep it updated), for all language, or directly do the feature, I can add it to the project.

To hide the addon windows, currently you can manually hide it with the keybinds or with command (/surveyzonelist or /szl). But yes I can add an option to hide automatically when the list is empty.

It is not English, yes. All other names are ok ecxept Coldharbour which is just listed as Cold. But it is still in list. Craglorn and Wrothgar are missing totaly.

I thought that it may have something to do with numbers in survey's name, but Coldharbour also has numbers... But it has only half of its name as in Russian it is like Cold Harbour (two words, and addon cut the second away) Doesnt know if that helps
About Coldharbour, I saw that bug when I develop the next release. It will be fixed with it.

For Craglor and Wrothgar which are not displayed for you. I have no idea for the moment. When I will have survey for these maps, I will change my game language to other languages and check if they are displayed (For Russian, I will just check if I have the same number of lines listed, I can't read Cyrillic).
Maybe I already fixed it in the next release without realising it

I just checked in the next release, I had rewritten the zone detection system when there is a number in the survey name.
I had detected (and managed these cases) some strange spaces for DE and RU in some surveys name when I was testing in all languages. I have reread the code of the current release, I think these "spaces" can generate the issue you have, some missing maps for RU and DE only. So, I think it will be fixed in the next release
