Set Junker
Version: 1.3.1
by: HerrPulaRau [More]
This add-on allows the user to mark a list of sets, and any duplicates as junk.

Each time a vendor is opened, the mark set items will automatically be moved to junk category in order to be easily sold.

Each time a bank is opened, duplicates are searched (not taking traits into account when searching, but taking them into account when marking as junk) and marked as junk (1 of each is not marked, except rings where more are kept).

## Mentions: @code65536, I used the sets list and part of display from his Itemization Browser add-on

The simplest way to use the add-on is to bind a key to it (is under the User Interface option in controls list). You can also use /setjunker to open the interface.

Then you just press the key, and select the sets you don't want (click on the on/off button). You can also search or see their bonuses on mouse over.

You can also set individual items to not be marked as junk when you turn on the option for a set. Clicking on a set (not the on/off button) will display detailed options for that set.

v 1.3.1
- Added Greymoor sets

v 1.3.0
- Added do not junk option in rarity selector - using it will make the selected item type not junkable (for example if you select "Do not junk" in glyphs rarity selector no glyphs will be junked
- Added option to not junk intricate items

v 1.2.1:
- Added slash command
- Updated API version

v 1.2.0:
- Added option to set duplicates as junk (default off to preserve compatibility) when you open the bank (both in your inventory and in bank). One item of each duplicate is kept, so if you have 2 automaton bracers for example, only one will be marked as junk (the weaker one, taking into account into account if item is locked or not, level of the item, the rarity, and a desired trait). Rings are not automatically marked because you may require 2, 3 or even 4, but you will get a message with the item name to check manually. If a ring is locked the message will not appear. Any feedback is great. Personally I found over 80 duplicate items as soon as I activated it .

Note: Lower level items (under cp 160) are always marked as junk if a higher version exists.

v 1.1.1
- Fixed rare bug occurring when a set has detailed options on but all weapons or all armors are marked as junk

v. 1.1.0:
- Added option to select rarity of items over which the items are not junked any more (is better to deconstruct the legendary items)
- Added option to select individual items than can be kept (for example you want to junk agility inferno staff, but not agility rings)

v. 1.0.2:
- Added default junk list
- Added non set armors, weapons and jewels as junk
- Added items designed to be sold (like ectoplasm) as junk

v. 1.0.1:
- Fixed title bug.

Future developments roadmap:
1. Display icon for deconstruct - Probably many people prefer deconstructing items to selling them, I plan to add this feature for our beloved crafters.
3. Mark expensive items - Ok... so you already got your mother sorrow inferno infused/precise staff. GG. But now you got another... you don't wanna keep it, but destroying would be suboptimal. This should be marked to be sold.
4. Technical possible improvement (needs to be analyzed): Use libsets lib instead of a set list

For any other features don't hesitate to post your requests. I plan to make 1. and 2. during next Saturday if nothing unexpected happens. So... have a great day all .

Thanks a lot! Appreciate all the effort. Glyphs option is to help me train up new characters. Best of luck with the new house too!

Also, note that the addon gets a bug when you run both it and itembrowser at the same time.

Thanks again.
Hello,

Ty for your comment and sorry for slow answer, was away for a while. Thank you for the kind words in the post. I will fix the conflict with itembrowser this weekend.

Junking the glyphs is part of the design (most ppl I know always sell them since you craft what you need, and never seen a good glyph drop so far). I can add an option to disable this.

Regarding intricate items... can a set item be intricate (never seen one so far, though I don't deny the possibility)? Anyway, if an item is part of a set that you have not marked as junk it should not be junked unless you have a duplicate of it and you have junk duplicates on (maybe you had a duplicate?). Anyway, I assume you want to keep intricates for deconstruct regardless of set (multiple ppl mentioned that) and I will also add on option for this this weekend (most likely tomorrow).

New version

Hey guys,

I didn't get to do all I wanted (real life gets in the way of my free time ) but I did manage to add a couple new options like:

- Being able to keep all items of a specific type - received multiple requests not to junk glyphs and went from that -> added in rarity selector the option to not junk at all
- Keeping intricate items - received multiple requests for this also

Thank you for the feedback and don't hesitate to write regarding any new requests. I read them all (including emails and in game chats), and I will add them all at some point but between 3 kids, building a house and work my time is a bit limited so I first implement the most requested, then go down the list.

One thing I like very much is how it is easy to access to the set by his name.

Please keep simple the way the list of the sets is implemented into SavedVariables, it allows me to easily to import it from an excel sheet (it is LibSets_SetData.xls with personal comments).

On my heavy dreams it is just only duplicates I want to be saved but more a number. For example I need 3 sanctuary sets because I have 3 healers). But I fully understand that 1) it is very hard job to make and 2) maybe not simple enough to use too.

Long live to your addon and heavily waiting next update. Thank you very much !
Tyvm for the feedback. I actually have the code ready for multiple duplicate sets keep, but I can't find a nice way to fit it into the interface. However I tried it felt heavy / overwhelming. My wife has some ideas that I will try, but not sure they will work.

Also I need to include a few new sets and mythic items.

I will be a bit busy for the next week, but hopefully will release a new version the week after.

This way we can easily see the changes and do not have to scroll down in the addon description.
Even Minion addon manager shows the changelog properly and that's where the changes of each version should be kept.

You can access this tab by clicking on "manipulate addon" link at the top right of your addon's page and then you are at the "Description" tab. Next to this tab, at the right, is the "Changelog" tab. Just put the change history in there and PLEASE write the newest version changes at the top and the oldes to the bottom of that list so one directly sees the last changes.
Thank you!
Tyvm, I didn't see the changelog tab. Copied the version updates there also (note: they were already in the right order in the description).

Hint: You can use FCOIs + DoItAll to mass decon/refine respcting FCOIS marker icons already.
DoItAll also provides mass mail attach, mass player2player trade attach, mass move to/from bank for the currently shown items (you can filter the items using FCOIS, FCOCraftFilter, AdvancedFilters updated before moving/decon/refine/attaching them -> Only the currently visible ones (not filtered ones) will be respected.

Yes, is actually on my list, well... I was thinking on adding an icon, but I can also tag them ofc (there is a mini roadmap in description, number 2 on the list is: 2. Display icon for deconstruct - Probably many people prefer deconstructing items to selling them, I plan to add this feature for our beloved crafters).

Today I plan to finish the individual items because I have 3 ppl asking me for it, then I will prioritize this. I'm actually working on the individual items right now. A preview below (is still work in progress).

Thank you very much for the suggestion, I didn't know about the lib (this is my first add-on and I did it fast for my wife and kid). I will definitely take a look into it this Saturday.
