Open the UI with /csps or specify a keybind.

Main features:
- Save your build for after update 29 or for character respeccing
- Import/export your build data
- Create and manage profiles for the new champion system 2.0
-- Profiles can be saved for the whole account or for the current character

- NEW FEATURE: text-based import for the new champion system (see below)

The coming update 29 will reset skills and championpoints. This addon is intended to save your skills and CPs before the upcoming update and, afterwards, put them back the way they were (giving you the option to edit them first). You can also use this addon to create profiles for respeccing your character or import/export builds.

Saving data:
1. Click on 'Read current data'.
2. Optionally, click on the plus/minus next to your skills to add/remove a skill point. (You will be able to edit your skills later, too.)
3. Click on 'Save shown data'. All skills, attributes and CP are saved.

Loading saved data (see below for respeccing):

1. Click on 'Load saved data'.
2. At the top, select which data you want to apply (skills, attributes, CP).
3. Optionally, click on the plus/minus next to your skills to add/remove a skill point.
4. Click on 'Apply loaded data'. Your selected data is applied.
5. Click on the options button (topright corner) to toggle the hotbar. The hotbar skills have to be applied separately.

Create profiles for respecing:
You may use the plus and minus right of the profile dropdown box to create/delete new profiles. If you want to use this for respeccing you can delete all skills from the build that shall not be changed - this saves storage space and makes the profile more clear to read. Just go to the shrine and get into morph respec mode to apply the profile - you don't need to reset all your skills to do that.



Import/export data:
1. Click on the options button to open the import/export section.
2. Select the platform (for now, eso-skillfactory.com only)
3. Generate a link from your current displayed build and copy it to your browser (ctrl+c).
4. Insert a link from your browser (ctrl+v) and import it as your new build.
5. You will be able to edit the build between importing and applying it.

The "old" CPs are saved and still shown after update 29, but won't be applied for they can't be transferred to the new system. But there is a new easy way to set your CP:

Champion point import (text based):
-- If you find a useful cp setup in a guide etc. you can now easily import it into the game.
-- No need to manually enter your champion points - just copy them into the addon.
-- As long as there is a number followed by the English name of a champion skill, the addon will automatically import the champion point distribution you copied.
-- If the skills in your text are presented in the opposite order (name first, then value), you can change the reading order by activating the checkbox below the input textfield.
-- To reduce the possibility of mistakes the three champion disciplines have to be imported separately.


Planned for the future:
- import/export for more platforms
- integration of the champion point hotbar profiles with dressingroom / alphagear sets

Attention for update 29: Please test on a twink first after the update, as I can't guarantee that the changes from Update 29 won't effect the addon's funcionality (though I test everything on the pts of course).

Yes, that's the way the addon handles them.

Possible yes, but it would heighten the chance of mistakes in the whole process. But you can of course just save the whole setup as an account wide profile after you imported them on one char and then load that profile on all the others.

Oh... Well, considering how many skills there are in the game - that would be quite an operation... Maybe someday, maybe not me ;-) And your skills/morphs can always be exported from the addon to eso-skillfactory and then imported back again - so this might also be an option for you.

How to you caculate the cp... what i mean lets put an example:

im oftenly entering a list, with skill break out, ie: the 30 means to reach 30 cp in that skills, then the 50 to reach 50cp... so that skills will use 50cp total... lot 10+30+50=90 if that makes sence... are u calculating the how much it cost to upgrade to the desire level each time? or will i have to change a few things...

i don't honestly think their is an easy solotution for the settings of (slottable) skills, since at some points i might want to drop one picked early, and replace it with a new one... and its not always like the 4 last 4 slottable or the 1st four slottable that i would want

but ya finding keyword "slot" at least is a good way to start

4 accounts, 18 chars + 18 chars + 9 chars + 9 chars... gonna prolly spend 2-3 days upgrading

wish we could import all skills and all cps from 1 text files ... but delay is too short to ask ... could it be possible to import all 3 cp at the same times?

or eventually have a text import for skills/morph

Also a good idea. I included that in the import process: the addon now searches for the word "slot" in the text. If found, that will determine which skills to slot in the champion bar. If not, the addon will fill the champion bar with slottable skills found in the text, starting from the top until the bar is full.
Also added two extra options below the text, one of them is for the addon to stop the import once your cp level is reached (otherwise it will import everything and you would have to remove points before applying). So with version 1.5.0 (which is now uploaded and currently pending) you should be able to use your list for leveling.

Thanks for telling me this - that just made me notice, that the text import doesn't check if a skill would be slotted twice while importing. So you end up with Plentiful Harvest taking two slots and preventing other skills from taking theirs. That was easy to fix, it just will take a while till I upload it, because I was working on some other functions and want to double check those before I upload a new version.

I don't know which server you're playing on. Because you said "same character" I asume EU which is mirrored right now. In that case you can just copy the sv and change the first entry from "EU Megaserver" to "PTS". Otherwise your way should work just fine.

Oh, what the... They changed the order of the skills in that skill line. Pretty sure that wasn't the case before the newest patch - but nothing in the natch potes - thank you for telling me, would have been a pain if I didn't notice that before it went live. I'll have to include that in the update migration routine. Will try to do that today or tomorrow.

Yeah, that is indeed a problem for many addons. But I don't think I can avoid that if I don't want to anchor the addon to a specific UI scene. What you can do is just open the skill window or any other UI element in the background - so the cursor will stay active while you're in the addon.

Hacking, Sorry...

I wanted to test things, with the upgrade coming in two weeks. I have too many characters to want to do things by hand or screenshot.

I made a save of a character with the most recent version on the live server. Copying over the saved variables file to pts does not work. So I saved the same character on pts, the pasted the live data to the pts character. I clipped everything after the character ID number:

When I went back to the pts to load the skillpoints, everything was almost perfect. The error came in with the antiquities system. The pts version claimed that I did not meet all requirements for the points. It emptied my points from the Scrying Rank, and from Dilation. Not sure if ID's or something else changed.

One More:

When the update drops, most of us will not need points in Rapid Maneuvers any longer, but will instead need a point in the top passive, Continuous Assault. (This is in the Cyrodiil PvP Assualt skills) A note to mention that would be really nice in the restore.

Last thing: Is it possible to keep the cursor in user mode after clicking/hitting enter for the addon? A lot of addons have the same issue, but it is a pain to need to keep hitting '.' so that my cursor is active in the addon after every action I take.

nono we have to thank you for this esp. when the reset hits. before your addon i made several screenshots just to be able to set up my chars again. what a pain... it would be this way.

Hi there,

caught a bug with the current version. was just overwriting my existing save and it didnt work.
