PersonalAssistant V2

There are already many addons out there that support Auto-Repair or Auto-Gold-Deposit functionalities, but none of them had the features I'd like to have seen. Because of that, PersonalAssistant was born.

After a two year long break from ESO, I finally managed to complete the major refactoring that started back in 2017. But not only that, I also added many more features that I could not even have thought of back then. I hope you will have as much fun using this addon, like I had working on it!



PA General
  • Up to eight different account-wide profiles that can be renamed
  • Shortcut to travel to your home (if available)

PA Banking
  • Currencies (gold, alliance points, ...) can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Crafting materials can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank (if you are not ESO Plus Subscriber)
  • Create your own custom rules and decide how many of each item to keep in bank or inventory
  • Other selected items such as motives, recipes, writs, glyphs, trophies etc. can be withdrawn from and deposited to your bank
  • Select if items with [Intricate] trait should be transferred from/to the bank
  • Define a specific amount of lockpicks, repair kits or soul gems to always keep in inventory or the bank
  • Be always ready for Cyrodiil and define how many AvA items to keep in inventory

PA Integration
  • Limited support for FCO ItemSaver regarding "Marked for selling" and "Locked" marks

PA Junk
  • Trash items can be marked as junk
  • Items with the "sell to merchant" information can be marked as junk
  • Treasures (such as the ones found when stealing) can be marked as junk
  • Items with [Ornate] trait can be marked as junk
  • Weapons, Armor, Jewelries, or Glyphs below a certain quality level can be marked as junk (quality threshold can be defined)
  • Junk can be sold at merchants and fences
  • Save time and use keybinding shortcuts to mark items as junk or directly destroy them
  • Mark any item as permanent junk so you never have to deal with it again
  • Items with no sell value can also be destroyed instead of marked as junk

PA Loot
  • Informs you when an unknown recipe is looted
  • Informs you when an unknown motif/page is looted
  • Informs you when an item with a not yet researched trait is looted
  • Informs you when you are running out of inventory space (threshold can be defined)
  • Visually indicates if a recipe, motif, trait, or style page is known (or not) to the current character

PA Repair
  • Repairs your items for you when you visit a merchant (threshold can be defined)
  • Repairs your items out on the field when you have (non-crown) repair kits available (threshold can be defined)
  • Recharges your weapons when they run out of charges and you have filled soul gems available
  • Informs you when you are running out of soul gems, or repair kits (thresholds can be defined)

Which verison of PersonalAssistant do you have installed? This is only possible from 2.4.0 onwards.
And is "PersonalAssistant Junk" enabled in the addons list?
Also, where is the item? The options will only show up in the Backpack and the Bank (but not e.g. in the Guild Bank).

The banking rules are executed in a certain order - if you have conflicting rules then it can happen that e.g. an item is deposited first and then withdrawn again due to another rule; depending on which rules are conflicting.

Currently, the order of rule execution is as follows:
  1. Rules from the "Crafting Items" section
  2. Rules from the "Special Items" section
  3. Rules from the "AvA Items" section
  4. Rules from the "Individual Items" section (i.e. your manually defined individual item rules)

In future, the order most probably will be like this (ordered from generic to specific):
  1. Rules from the "Crafting Items" section
  2. Rules from the "Special Items" section
  3. Rules from the "AvA Items" section
  4. Rules from the "Advanced Items" section (i.e. your manually defined advanced item rules)
  5. Rules from the "Individual Items" section (i.e. your manually defined individual item rules)
  6. Rules from the PAIntegration section with the FCOIS-Tags
Potentially with the FCOIS tags, these items can be excluded from previous rules to even be touched - but for the other rules it can happend that an items is moved back-and-forth.

Will these rules supercede other custom banking rules in the event of conflict? eg an item matches a custom banking rule but has a FCOIS tag with an associated rule. Maybe an option to 'stop processing rules' with FCOIS integration at the top of rules processing?

Creating generic rules is not really viable here because of how dynamic the values of recipes are - one green recipe might only be worth 20g, while another green recipe can be 500g. Obviously you would not want the 2nd one to be marked as junk as well.
I cant PAJunk, the option doesnt show when I right click.

Only indirectly; you can mark a specific recipe as permanent junk (right-click on it and then under "PAJunk").

No, not yet. I don't have that much time at the moment and soon WoW Classic will come out and I want to spend some of my limited free time there.
Hard to say when 2.5.x will be read; coming up with this very dynamic setup takes a lot of time and I first had to implement from scratch a totally new library (LibShifterBox) that can cover the needs I have. Currently I would say the progress is like this:
  • UI to create/edit rules --> 70%
  • UI to view all current rules --> 0%
  • Actual banking logic for custom rules --> 0%
Here is a sneak-peek though; I hope that this will be much more simple to use than manually writing your rules like some other addons do

That looks really nice. Very anxious to check it out when you have it done. How are you envisoning incorporating the FCOIS tags into the banking rules?

No, not yet. I don't have that much time at the moment and soon WoW Classic will come out and I want to spend some of my limited free time there.
Hard to say when 2.5.x will be read; coming up with this very dynamic setup takes a lot of time and I first had to implement from scratch a totally new library (LibShifterBox) that can cover the needs I have. Currently I would say the progress is like this:

Good point as well (apparently I always visited a merchant before going to the bank ). I will add an option here as well so that PABanking by default will ignore items marked as junk.

Small request

Heyo, I'm switching over from Inventory Manager and this is way better Thank you! Is it possible to add auto banking for furnishings as well to the PA-B tab? (pardon the rhyme)

Klingo, thank you very much for your continued work on this great addon.

Two things:

- PA Banking seems to ignore Grains used in Jewelry Crafting, or else it lacks a rule for them. Not difficult to set up manually, but reporting it just in case.

- Do you think it might be possible to exclude junked items from banking processes? Right now, there's a "conflict" when both PA Banking and PA Junk are set up to handle materials: PA Junk is supposed to auto-junk specific materials (via custom rules), while PA Banking is supposed to bank the rest of them (via pre-defined rules). If I don't sell my junk prior to accessing a bank, PA Banking moves the junked items I'd like to vendor into my bank's junk tab. Not tragic, but also not ideal.

Perhaps there's a smarter way to have PA bank only max CP materials and junk the rest, though? I'd appreciate advice!

Guild Bank Request

I'm really enjoying the functionality of your addon. I wish I could use more of it's features. However, there is another addon that provides similar functionality (but different) that also offers transfer TO Guild Bank. That other addon doesn't offer transfer from Guild Bank.. I assume it's a limitation put in place by ZOS.

At any rate, I think I would be able to use only your addon if it had the option to transfer items to a designated Guild Bank (Recipes, Motifs, Ornates, Glyphs, etc.).

As it is, I need to use some options in one and some options in the other. Together they work great.

I almost wish they could be merged.

I know you built this addon for your own purposes and were kind enough to share it with us, and I appreciate that. I'm just voicing my hope that someday it might include Guild Bank as an option.

I also understand that the added functionality may only apply to those who have a private guild bank.

Technically your error is slightly different; but I believe to know what the issue was. Please let me know if the new version 2.4.10 resolves the issue.
