Version: 0.3b
by: Smaxx [More]
This is a small UI add-on meant for those loving to roleplay and those who are unhappy with things such as the @UserID in guild chat.

So far this addon provides two simple functionalities:
  • Replace occurences of @UserID with the currenct character (if the talking player is either in one of your guilds or your friend).
  • Colorize and unify the markup of OOC lines (like "ooc: Good morning!" or "((Telephone call, BRB))"). This feature is temporarily disabled.

All features can be individually enabled/disabled from the game's settings screen (ESC -> Settings).
0.3b - 23rd May 2014
  • API version bumped for 1.2.3

0.3a - 23rd May 2014
  • API version bumped for 1.1.2

0.3 - 9th May 2014
  • Fixed names being off/wrong once players relog and switch characters.
  • The add-on should now properly update whenever people change zones etc.

0.2b - 29th April 2014
  • Fixed dependencies not being listed/loaded.
  • Fixed incompatibility with SpamFilter and most other addons utilizing LibChat.
  • Temporarily disabled the OOC colorizing, since this is still incompatible with many other addons.

0.2a - 24th April 2014
  • Fixed settings not persisting

0.2 - 24th April 2014
  • Initial ESOUI upload

Not working.

Hi

This add on does not seem to be working since the last update. I get no error messages and its enabled to use old add ons. So not sure what is going wrong.

I've tried messing about with it a bit to try and see how T's color changing mod might integrate, but didn't get it to work.

Thanks!
That would be possible, but tricky (since add-ons are no longer allowed to send messages). I'll have to think about it.

This is weird. Does the same thing happen if you don't load any other addons as well? This is either some incompatibility or something really odd going on. Also going to upload a new version today, might be fixing this (since I've changed a few things) but not necessarily.

Edit:
I'm dumb... Forgot to add the library dependencies, so unless some other addon loads them, it will appear broken for you. This is going to be fixed in the new version later today.

Any chance you've got any other chat modification mods installed like SpamFilter? If so, they're incompatible right now (only one will work, depending on which one loads second).

I'm trying to find some solution for that. If it isn't SpamFilter (easy to test by deactivating it), then I'd like a list of your addons installed to pin down the issue.

Ahh ok just tested that and it worked yes. Hope a future edition will be compatible as I cannot stand the spam haha.
