Status tracking for Elsweyr Dragons.

I was inspired by the addon World Event Alert (aka Dragon Alert) created by Enodoc.

Dependency :
Features :
  • Display the current status of all Elsweyr Dragon if you are in the Elsweyr zone.
  • Display the dragon's color
  • Display a timer to know since how long a dragon has a status.
  • Know when the dragon will repop, and display it instead of "killed since"
  • You can switch between location name and cardinal point (see FAQ)

FAQ :

Why the timer is not displayed ?
If you just arrived in the zone, the timer will not be displayed. You need to assist to a change of status to have the timer.

Why the addon display "killed since..." instead of "repop in..." ?
You need to assist to a kill - repop of one dragon to know the current dragon's repop time.

How to display location name ?
You can configure it from the settings panel dedicated to the addon.
Also, the previous method with a command still works :
"/dragontrackerlabeltype name" will display location name
"/dragontrackerlabeltype point" will display cardinal point

Why location name is not displayed at Southern Elsweyr ?
Because dragons daily quests not use a location name but cardinal point, and all landing zone for a same dragon not have the same location name at Southern Elsweyr.


If you want other features, you can ask in comment or on the github.

Supported languages are English, French and German (thanks to TNTKokser and Asurason).

It's now fixed. You just need to update LibDragonWorldEvent when the v1.1.2 will be approved.

I haven't been to Southern Elsweyr since Greymoor, I just checked and you have right, not work. Also in Northern Elsweyr, Sorry.
I already found the reason, I will work on a fix soon

Feature Request

Any way to keep the Dragon timer up (on screen) while viewing the main map.

Currently when we view the main map, the timer disappears.

Due to health issues i am not able to test in game actually as i have to rest a lot and not move. As soon as i can i will post the result. Sorry

I tried to play with the custom scale and that seems to be what's causing the problem. I have published a fix (I hope ^^).
About squares, it seems to miss a border with the custom scale, but I don't know how to fix that :/

I tried to play with the custom scale and that seems to be what's causing the problem. I have published a fix (I hope ^^).
About squares, it seems to miss a border with the custom scale, but I don't know how to fix that :/

In fact, there are other change since v2.2.0. Before I used 1 label per line to display all info. Now I use 2 labels per line; the first for the location name, and the second for the status.
With this change, I can be sure to align all dragons info, to not create a fake alignment with spaces like before. So I also made the changes you see in translation files.

I do not reproduce your issue, so to find a way to reproduce, I have questions for you.
Do you use an addon to change the font ? I see with the L letter that the font seem to be different. Or maybe a change you made ?
Maybe something else that I think, did you have enabled the custom scale ? (just an idea)

About the square, I see that a border is missing, a change in next patch will decreased the size from 15 to 12. I hope it will be enouth.
In fact yes for eyes i needed to change the in game font. The font ZOS use and thus some addons, make my eyes see double. So i use Ubuntu Light without any style (no bold nothing) and i use the old addon for that called Pawksickles.

The fix is now released, I did not reproduce your issue. So I hope that it will fix that, but come back to me if the problem persists

Red and grey for fire dragons (dragons which was in Northen Elsweyr before dragonhold)
White for ice dragon
Black for storm dragon
Transparent if no dragon, or if the color is not detected.

I have the same problems with the german client. The names are overlapping and reading is not easy.





BTW the squares shows wich dragon comes... red (fire) white (ice) black (lightning) and grey (i dont know)

Ahhh nice it shows dragon type now, wanted to look into checking for a certain buff as well but never got around to do it.

It's now implemented. By default cardinal point is displayed, and you can change that with a slash command. I explain it in addon's description
About Southern Elsweyr location name, I do not have it for the moment so I will update the addon in few days to add it.
