Tamriel Chronos - Clock
Version: 20101
by: Gandalf [More]
Tamriel Chronos shall help photographers, streamers, and housing enthusiasts to plan and predict the ambient and daylight conditions
at a certain point in time. Of course, it also helps to plan vampire and werewolf hunts

Tamriel Chronos provides clocks, astronomical data, holidays, a calendar, and a date/time conversion tool:

Clocks
There are several clocks to choose from (pic 1).
The clocks can be moved freely and will remember their position.
The astronomical data is provided in the tooltip of the clock (pic 2).
You may define hotkeys to toggle the visibility and to zoom the clock.
Right mouse click the clock will post Chronos data into chat.

Conversion Tool
Double mouse clicks the clock or using a hotkey will bring up the time conversion tool (pic 3).
Earth Standard Time can be converted to Tamriel Standard Time and vice versa.
The conversion will be executed once you hit the return-key.

Calendar
The Tamriel Holiday Calendar can be shown by using the info button in the conversion tool or by a hotkey (pic 4).
The calendar year may be adjusted to your needs.

Holidays
Holidays may be shown as links in chat upon login.
They are accessible as link in the conversion tools or as tooltip in the calendar (pic 5).

Date and time considerations
Tamriel Chronos uses a 365-day calendar with no leap years as described in https://www.imperial-library.info/co...lendar-tamriel
Tamriel time conversion methods are based on https://esoclock.uesp.net.
With the following changes:
  1. esoclock uses a 30-day January for the day calculation, what I believe is a bug (https://esoclock.uesp.net/esoclock.js)
  2. Tamriel Chronos adjusts the calendar to ESO’s launch date Friday 4.4.2014 - Fredas, Rain's Hand 4th 2E 582
  3. The percentage of illuminated parts of the moons are adjusted. Since esoclock show 0% (New moon) when parts of the moons are still visible.
  4. The rotation of the moon axes is also supported

The Tamriel lore calendar and the holidays are based on:
