Enabling addons ingame again
If one of this depending library is missing you cannot enable the addon ingame!
So please check the dependencies of the addon ingame.
The best possible way is to install "Votans Addon List" addon which will seperate the addons from the libraries.
It will show you the dependencies at each addon line, right column, as tooltip for the "red" icon (if an addon is disabled and cannot be enabled). Scroll down to the libraries at the bottom and enable the ones needed for the addon then.

If you post comments about the addon not working anymore and haven't read and understood what is written here, it is not the addon's nor the developers fault!
Just ask if you do not understand it, but tell me you have read this text! If not I won't answer or just write "Description" as a hint.
Please keep in mind we do this on our free time and are not able to play this nice game if we need to work on the addons.

Why do I do this
This change is needed to reduce maintaining time of all the 30+ addons I need to keep updated.
Each patch or change of a library will need me to update ALL addons even if only the libraries need an update Excahnging the librarie folders within the adodn, backing things up, testing them, building the ZIP files and write changelog here needs me to invest about 5-10 minutes for EACH addon
By removingg the libraries and let you install them as standalone "addon" I'm not forced to update the addons if the libraries change. This will save me hours of work!

Please support me with this, install the libraries as standalone once via e.g. Minion and your addons will be set to work normally again + you gain the benefit to be able to update the libraries via Minion automatically as they are updated, and all addons will recognize it automatically without having you to need to wait for an update of each/or at least one addon containing the new library files.
+ the folder size of your AddOns folder decreases a lot if the libraries only need to be "ONCE" in the folder, and not also in each subfolder of the addons.!
+ I might use the gained time to work on fixing addons or adding new features as well.


Explanations:

Standalone library
"Not included" in other addons zip files.
You need to download the zip file of the "library" and install it alone, as if it would be a whole addon.
You got the library then in your AddOns folder like AddOns\LibStub (like an addon is shown the same way, e.g. AddOns\FCOItemSaver).


You need to close the game! If you install the standalone libraries with the game started they are not recognized properly. So close the game client or restart it before/after the standlaone libraries are installed.

Benefits:
For me:
More time to play the game again and maybe maintain the addons better as I do not need to update each time if the library changes and can focus on the needed stuff.
-> So you might benefit fom it as well

For you:
You will be automatically able to update the libraries as standalone versions via Minion e.g. and are also up2date all the time.
Depending addons will recognize it automatically and need no addon update if simply the library needed an update.

Library
Libraries are code line which can be re-used in other code lines (addons e.g.). The LibAddonMenu-2.0 is for example a library which provides the standard UI and controls for the ingame settings so adodns are able to provide these settings (checkboxes, dropdown, texts, buttons) for you.

Included libraries were only included into the addons to make life easier for you, the users, in the beginning of ESO. And there was a kind of bug which did not allow standalone libraries to be used properly, which got fixed meanwhile.

Loading of libraries
The game assures via the library LibStub that libraries (included in other addons or standalone versions) will only load the newest version.
So if a standalone library is loaded with the highest/newest version, the included libraries in other addons won't be loaded again. One could even strip them from the other addons as well to fullfill the purpose of a "library": Reusable code for several other code (addons).

The game will load addons + libraries in the following order:
Unsorted loading of ALL folders which are inside the folder AddOns.
It checks the folders if there are txt files in.
It reads the txt files and check sif in there is specified if this folder is DependendOn or OptionallyDependendOn any other folder (addon, library).
If dependencies are found it will load the dependencies first, and then the addon/library which depends on them.

So as basically every library is depended on LibStub the game will load the folder LibStub (standalone library) first, or LibStub from any of the subfolders of an addon (included librray) if not found as standalone.

The most important thing is the txt file (called: manifest) which gives the information about version, api version it was build for (will be compared ingame with the game's api version and if the version in the TXt is lower than ingame the addon/library will be "disabled" in the ingame addon manager until you enable the checkbox "Allow out of date addons"!), dependencies of the addon/library.

Conclusion
If you understand this, what libraries are, how they work, read the description of addons properly: You will have no trouble in the future.

If you do not want to read, just press buttons to update/auto update everything without thinking, you do not want to understand/learn how eso addons work, but only use them: You might get in trouble in the future. But I bet there are other addons out there which fullfill your needs then (if they will not be changed to use standalone libraries as well, which might happen earlier then you think ).

FCO Craft Filter

Application is Fast API ready

This little addon will add buttons to the crafting stations top left side which will easily filter your items located at your bank from the crafting station's panel.
It will distinguish the different crafting stations (blacksmithing, clothing, woodworking, enchanting) and their different panels.

Supported panels are:
-Deconstruction (armor/weapon/jewelry)
-Improvement (armor/weapon/jewelry)
-Enchanting creation
-Enchanting extraction


With 1 click on the button you can change which items are shown: Only bank, only inventory, both.
The standard settings only switch between "show inventory items" and "show all items".
The tooltip of the button shows you what items are currently shown and which ones are hidden.

This must be enabled in the settings:
You can add a 3rd state which will only show the icons in your bank.

A settings panel is able to change the language and save the settings acocunt wide or for each character,
and enable the extra "medium" filter to ONLY show the bank items.

This addon was coded upon request (ingame).

Have fun with it.

Here is an example version of FCOCraftFilter (beta 0.2.2) containing this code so together with AdvancedFilters the changing of the shown items at a crafting panel (bag, bank, both) will change the subfilter buttons enabled/disabled state as well.

You need the AdvancedFilters beta 1.5.6 Version, or higher, to test this!

Yes, Minion recognizes the libraries already and will install them to the proper live/AddOns directory too.
You need to restart the eso client completely if you have installed new libraries as standalones. The client won't recognize the .txt files else.

Everything is written in the addon description as well including hints to common errors with archive extraction etc.
Ppl just need to read it which most do not want to or have "no time" to (but they got time to complain about and write forum posts. If not here, then on the official eso forums or reddit). They even have time to piss of addon devs by writing unkind words and "what we addon devs" need to do for them, for free and until "they decide to abandon the game"

About your words, especially "Most people might just give up because they don't want to bother with it":
This world we live in is just a constant taking without giving Just rethink your attitude guys and take your time, come down again, relax and try to use your brain instead of letting Ok goole or Aalexa do it for you.
Maybe start to use your brain on your own again and keep it trained, read stuff ppl write to you and try it out. Most of the time you'll notice that it will "work all of sudden"

Yes it is. Read the description of my addons and you may understand why I'm doing this.
And what is the problem about "out of date addons"? They WORK! They are just compared to a number ingame and if the number differs its called "out of date" but it is not!
So just check this f***ing chekcbox ingame and don't even think about it anymore until a REAL lua error appears ingame due to an addon "not working anymore", and not because a number comparison tells you out of date.

Explanation:
Out of date: Apiversion ingame 100025. Api version in addon's txt file: 100024 -> Out of date -> Addons till works totally fine if you enable the echekbox
So even an addon with api 100011, like some libraries got, are able to work 10% successfully and correct.
This out of date is just an idea of ZOs to tell you users hat something could need an update. But you all get it toally wrong and bother us since years now...
Read my addon descriptions and you'll se what time we need to invest just to fix this out of date stuff where it does not need to be fixed at all.
Change your txt file locally and you are fine, if you do not want to enable out of date addons.

Addon not working: Got nothing to do with out of date or not. if the game code changes and the addon doesn't where it needs to, you'll get an lua error message and the addons tops to work.

There are several posts, threads and whatever about this out of date stuff. read it, understand the mechanics please. If you do not want to, or already have and do not understand it, you'll have to accept my decision and that this out of date crap is just nothing which prevents addons from working.

We are not going to invest more of our free time to just make "your" game experience as easy and less time consuming as it can be. The addons were made for ourselves and you are free to use thm or even not. Your decision.
But it is my game time, my money I invest. You need to accept this in the end or start learning to code and update the adodns to your needs, including this api version raise in the txt file each time, where it is not needed at all, as you could simply chekc the checbox ingame and you are set within 1 second!

Edit:
Forgive my rage about this but you are not the first and not the last one starting to fight my decision. You may do this because you do not understand the mechanics. This is why I tried to explain it, again, ... But you have to live with it so you better start to understand and fix stuff YOU want to have by your own in the end. Or simply click this checkbox ingame and just reclick it after each major patch, and everything will work just fine.
If you are using Minion your addons will be updated properly, so I do not even understand what is your problem here?

Just in case you miss my comment in the forums about this... is it really your intent to make everyone download standalone libraries, most of which don't have an up to date version, and thus force them to enable Out of Date addons just to run yours?

This seems like a bad idea to me, but maybe I've missed something.

Checked and added it. Damn tables work quite different than the other crafting tables but it seems to work

Ehrm, thanks for the kind words and the info, but your info is outdated since 2 weeks?!

This error with Multicraft was known since months now. It was even told so in the addon description here and the comments (scrol down to older pages) and in the addon comments of multicraft.
-> I even had provided a patched/fixed version of multicraft since months in the addon comments and the addon desription of FCOCraftFilter
e.g. Check the comments below drom Dingodan, 21/01/18, 16:00

Multicraft was fixed 2 weeks ago, so if the error still happens you are using an old version of Multicraft and should update it properly (delete completely and reinstall new maybe).

Possible Issue with MultiCraft

Hello, all,

I recently ran into the issue of Craft Filter not working and went through the recommended process of turning off all other addons and systematically turning them back on. For me the issue was with MultiCraft. If MultiCraft is running, Craft Filter does not appear when I access a crafting station; if MultiCraft is disabled everything works normally.

This is an awesome addon that I'd be lost without, so thank you for all your work on it, Baertram!

Just tested it again and it works all perfectly.
Some screenshots to proove it. Maybe you have set the craftfilter to only show bank items?

With only FCOCF enabled, created a heavy helmet and switched to deconstruction and then improvement. Did reloadui and directly switched to improvement. If I set FCOCR at the top left corner to "Show inventory" or "Show both" (You need to enable this in the settings) the item is always visible:

If I switch to "Only bank" it's hidden, as it should be:

Not able to repriduce this, sorry ?!
What state got the filter switch button at the top left edge of the imporvement panel as this happens to you?
Is it "Show all", "Hide bank" or "Show only bank" (if enabled in the settings of this addon?
It it's "Show all" the item should be shown. If it's "Hide bank" it should ne shown as well. And if it's "Only bank" it should be hidden as long as you did not move the new helmet to the bank already.

Please show me a screenshot of the improvement panel where the helmet is not shown, containing the filter button state. And a screenshot of he panel as the helmet is shown (addon disabled).

Verified by using only this addon, again. Here is how I duplicate it.

No addons enabled. Craft level 1 heavy helmet. Move to Improve it. There it is, visible.

Enable this addon, reloadui, enter blacksmith, move to improve, the helmet I created is not there.

Disable this addon, reloadui, enter blacksmith, move to improve, the helmet I created is there.
