  a) Send Mail to open the Send Mail screen with the recipient field already filled;
  b) Copy in Chat which writes that player's name in chat for you.
★ Show periodic warnings - like the one for damaged gear - when:
  a) You have trash items in your inventory that should be sold to a vendor; and
  b) You have stolen items that should be fenced or laundered.
★ Allows you o change the default selected option for new mail: Send Money or C.O.D.
★ Rearranges the equipment slots in the inventory screen.
★ Hides Wayshrines when zooming out to the world map.
★ Displays your local time with either slash commands /clock or /time.
★ Makes the emotes list interactive: you can click on them to watch them play.
★ Adds a new Delete Old Mail option in Mail Inbox screen with a threshold configurable in settings.
★ Allows you to disable slash command suggestions box in chat.

You can toggle on/off each feature individually in the add-on settings menu.

Slightly Improved™ add-ons:

Slightly Improved™ Attribute Bars

Thumbs down Missing An Option

When right-clicking a name in chat, I get the "send mail" option, but I don't get the "copy to chat" option.

"Copy in Chat which writes that player's name in chat for you." - from the description page.

I have:
Invite to Group, Whisper, Ignore, Add to Friends, Report Player, Send Mail, Travel to Player, and Visit Primary Residence.

Anyone else not have the "copy in chat" option?

Also, the description page says that the "display style in item tooltip" was removed since it's now in the game, but the option is still there to turn it on and off? Does the option do something else now? Or was it meant to be removed from the settings?

Last update: 1.3.1 (Jan 26 2019)

• Added compatibility with API 100025.
• Updated LibAddonMenu dependency.
• Removed gear style from item tooltip since it's now built-in.

Question Sound = OFF?

Hello! I love this addon. Thank you for it.
I have a request. An option to turn off the sound it makes when giving you fence and/or trash warnings.
Please, please!

Addon does not appear in list

Greetings!

This mod seems to have a lot of very useful features, however, I cannot get it to show up in the mod list in game.

I've tried replacing the included LibAddonmenu-2.0 folder with the most up-to-date version, but that didn't help.

Any thoughts?
Nevermind... I figured out the issue - 100% goof on my end!

Working as intended now!

However, I could use some help figuring out why this addon shows as out of date for me. I changed the APIVersion in the txt file to 100025 100026, and all of my lib addons are updated (I went through every one in my addons and changed them to 100025 100026 as well xD). I also have the latest version installed - 1.3.1. I know it's not a big deal since the addon still functions, but it does bug me a bit... if you have time, could you implement a fix for this? Or let me know what I should do to get that pesky out of date to go away :P Thank you!
Hi there! I'm glad you liked it and I really appreciate your feedback.

The current Live APIVersion is 100025 so there should be no problem. One important thing to consider though is that this add-on depends on another add-on called LibAddonMenu and this one is in fact out-of-date. This dependency is actually included in the add-on (sub-directory called LibAddonMenu-2.0). Also it's very likely that other add-ons will also be including a copy this dependency (it's very popular).

Perhaps when a dependency is out-of-date the game flags the dependent out-of-date as well? I'm not sure. I would need to run some tests. In the meantime you could try disabling all other add-ons, and I mean every other one of them, except "LibAddonMenu" and this one and see if it works for you.

Thanks again for reaching out! If you have any other questions, or suggestions to make, feel free to reply here. Have a nice day!

Style in Tooltip?

Great Addon, Since HotR the style in the tooltip disappeared for me. I tried disabling all addons that i figured might be interfering to no avail. Is this a known thing or is just me? Maybe I should delete the addons saved variables? Best Biokem

Item Style tooltip shows style from previous item hovered. That's how it can be fixed (note, that SafeAddString is always called):
Lua Code:
  1. LibHookTooltip:RegisterPreHook("SlightlyImprovedGameplay", function(tooltip, link)
  2.         local styleText = ""
  3.         if savedVars.improveItemTooltip then
  4.             local itemType = GetItemLinkItemType(link)
  5.             local isArmor = (itemType == ITEMTYPE_ARMOR)
  6.             local isWeapon = (itemType == ITEMTYPE_WEAPON)
  7.             if (isArmor or isWeapon) then
  8.                 local equipType = GetItemLinkEquipType(link)
  9.                 if (equipType ~= EQUIP_TYPE_INVALID) then
  10.                     local styleId = GetItemLinkItemStyle(link)
  11.                     if styleId and (styleId ~= ITEMSTYLE_NONE) then
  12.                         styleText = GetString("SI_ITEMSTYLE", styleId).." "
  13.                     end
  14.                 end
  15.             end
  16.         end
  17.         SafeAddString(SI_ITEM_FORMAT_STR_BROAD_TYPE, styleText..defaultStrings["SI_ITEM_FORMAT_STR_BROAD_TYPE"], 1)
  18.     end)

Hi, thanks for the feedback. Merging would take some effort and would add a lot of complexity to the code. Also AFAIK people usually use only some of my add-ons, so if they were merged they would have to load a bunch of code just for 20% of its utility. That would lead to more bugs and a code base that's hard to handle. But in any case I'm always considering rearrange how these add-ons' features are categorized and I probably will merge and/or split somethings in the future. There could be a bundle packaging all of these add-ons but it too leads to more work than benefit since I'd have to update the bundle each time I update any of the add-ons and with Minion this work is done for you automatically.
