Overview

This addon tracks your sloted actions that have duration attributes or over time effects, reminds you to re-invoke your actions, and makes you good at performing rotations.

Features
  • Show current action duration remaining seconds in action bar,
  • Show a shift bar of swapped action hints above their original action bar position,
  • Auto move player resource bars upward when they are conflicted with shift bar,
  • Support actions without duration attribute but have DOT effects such as Desctructive Touch or other timed effect such as Elemental Drain,
  • Keep the ending 0.0 hints blinking for a little longer after duration finished, so they don't get lost easily,
  • Switch correspongding timer hints for current reticle over target,
  • Support actions stackable effect counting such as nightblade's Grim Focus and its morphs,
  • Append shift bar on top of ultimate button to show third ability bar such as overload bar action timer hints,
  • Override action duration with target debuff effect, e.g. change Beast Trap's 60s timeout to 6s timeout after triggered.

The latest version of this file is currently awaiting approval from a file admin. You can download a previous (older) version from the archive.
Yeah, unfortunately Minion got a kind of bug where it already sees new uploaded addons which got no approval on esoui yet. So if you try to update it "it get's stuck".
Just try again later then and check if the file got the "updated" text after it's name in the Last200 list here on esoui. Then it should work within Minion as well.

The newest version 3.1.19 gets stuck in Minion and won't fully update.

Regarding PvP I assume it has to do with the whacky in combat state in PvP atm. I didn't realise that the setting in ADR to turn on tracking after combat ends was character bound so I assume my issues came from that.

For PvE:
Before todays patch barbed trap would occasionally still show the 2/2 from rearming trap.

Barbed Trap and Scalding rune both track the duration the rune can lay on the ground. When either is activated it counts the duration until the effect ends and then resumes to count how long the trap can lay on the ground which is not needed.

Degeneration tracks the major sorcery duration after the damage portion. While this is nice for players that use it for major sorcery it's very confusing for players that only use it for the damage. I've manually edited core.lua to simply completely block major sorcery. Maybe some abilities with multi purposes should have options to be adjusted in the settings even though I personally would prefer if the addon can remain rather small.

Arrow Barrage has 2 seconds preptime plus 8 seconds of damage. If it's casted after the previous arrow barrage ran out the cooldown will correctly be 10 seconds. However if it's recasted during the previous barrage it will only count 8 seconds.

There used to be an issue that offbar cooldowns would just disappear while blocking, but they would reappear when stopping to block. I already got used to that and can't test before tonight if it's still there.

Because if you use it where there is no enemies the countdown starts. If you use it near enough to apply the debuff, even to one single enemy, and even not in combat, it detects the debuff and the countdown on the altar goes to 0.0 instantly.
The bug was in the relationship between effects and actions and I had re-defined the structure. Overflowing Altar should be supported well in recent versions. Can you check it?

BTW, I recommend using an improved version of LDT to develop addons. This LDT can be downloaded at

I also shared an eso-api project to assist auto-completion which has also been shared in github [email protected]:cloudor126/lua-eso-api.git

You can use the improved LDT to import these two repos' projects.

3.1.17

Consuming Trap is now tracked correctly
Degeneration is on 24s timer instead of the 12s (tracking sorcery instead of damage)
Barbed Trap still defaults back to whatever is left on the 1min timer after the 18s damage has finished
Scalding Rune (mages Guild) same thing as Barbed Trap

If the small hint is like "1/2" or "2/2", then this is a visual bug. Otherwise, this addon might have mismatched other stackable effects with those actions.

By the way, does this bug still exist in the latest version v3.1.17?

same here. it doesn't seem to track well in dungeons too though.
Can you check it in v3.1.17? Is it fixed?

Maybe it would work well now in v3.1.17. Can you check it?
