Syncs your account settings for you

You log onto someone you like their settings, you go into this addon settings (/accountsettings) and click save settings, confirm that, yes you want to do that, make sure sync is on and you're good.

For Chat window size and position you'll have to click the save button in the chat window

Now anytime you zone/log in on all of your characters you will have the same settings you did whenever you pressed that button.

Settings
Sync - automatically sync your current settings to your saved settings once saved
Hide Chat Button - ability to hide the save chat button
Save button - Save your settings at this point and time.
Log - Log messages about saved/synced.
Debug - Log messages about debug.

Bro, how you gonna have a paypal donation link on your addon but you don't even update it?

This doesn't work anymore. Clicking "Save these settings" does absolutely nothing, and nothing is synced.

Seems like it was a really handy addon once upon a time.

You'll need Votan's, would be nice if they were mushed together though.

This addon has been really useful but it needs an update, as there are some things that aren't synced (I presume they are new settings added by the latest updates and patches).

I think some parts no longer get saved. I tried to change the stealing options to auto loot and prevent looting placed objects
Also the options to turn off Target glow and mount hide inventory. Many times saving it and doesnt work when i logon another char.

Also thanks for the addon btw it has been extremely helpful.

Hi, does not sync NPC subtitles ON.

Otherwise, a great time-saver.

Thanks.

Should be …be wary that…. (UK and US English usage)

Thanks.

missed setting

like addon. sad though, doesnt seem to support social->minimum transparency. (SI_SOCIAL_OPTIONS_MIN_ALPHA and its _TOOLTIP, and OPTIONS_CUSTOM_SETTING_SOCIAL_MIN_ALPHA )

Dismount after sync event

Hi! Firstly, thank you very much for this addon! Having one character of each class and type would be horrific to have to set game settings for each of them! <3 <3

There has been a recent issue that I've noticed. Upon porting to a wayshrine, I'd mount up and a few seconds later I am automatically dismounted. I've narrowed down the issue to the Hide Mount Capacity/Speed/Stamina Upgrade settings. If I turned these off, I do not get dismounted.

I think this issue was introduced in patch 7.0.9, so I'm not sure if it is a bug or a change to their API.

Anywho, thank you very much again!!

Code:
user:/AddOns/AccountSettings/AccountSettings.lua:947: operator .. is not supported for string .. nil
stack traceback:
user:/AddOns/AccountSettings/AccountSettings.lua:947: in function 'AccountSettings:Sync'
|caaaaaa<Locals> self = 2, _ = 8, x = 5, _ = 4, y = 45 </Locals>|r
EsoUI/Libraries/Globals/globalapi.lua:216: in function '(anonymous)'
idk what the underlying issue is (for whatever reason the implementation of lua used by eso errors when trying to concatenate two strings if one of them is null/nil) but you can stop the error from popping up by commenting out line 947.
turning
Code:
                    AccountSettings:Log ( AccountSettings.DEBUG_COLOR, "Ignoring : " .. AccountSettings.SettingStrings[x][y] )
into
Code:
-- AccountSettings:Log ( AccountSettings.DEBUG_COLOR, "Ignoring : " .. AccountSettings.SettingStrings[x][y] )
some kind of catch that skips the logging if the variable is nil could fix it without commenting it out completely but meh...
Not seeing the error but I can turn the nil value tostring() and this should protect us from this issue.

Thanks for letting me know!
