Finally, Advanced Filters! The default inventory has type filters, but they're still WAY too broad. This add-on fixes that!

Features:
Subfilters to find exactly what you're looking for!
Main inventory, personal bank, guild bank, guild store, vendors, and craft bag support!
Custom icon work that makes the add-on feel like it came with the game!
Empty subfilters are greyed out and inaccessible to help save you time searching!
Shortens the time you need to find an item in your inventory!
German, French, Russian, and Spanish localization! (some are partial, PM me for corrections/additions)
Extensible filter system for authors to create additional dropdown filters! (See included documentation for details)

I'm just fixing bugs within this updated version.

-> The table contains subtables with the filtertype as the key (e.g. ITEMFILTERTYPE_WEAPONS) and the possible subfilterGroups as entries in these subtables (e.g.

name: The unique name of your callback table entry, used for the Strings table to translate it
filterResetAtStart: Reset the filter at the current subfilterPanel to "All" before applying the new filters from this callback table entry

-Added: Support for other addons which also filter the inventory/crafting stations. Check the code of FCOCraftFilter so together with AdvancedFilters the changing of the shown items at a crafting panel (bag, bank, both) will change the subfilter buttons enabled/disabled state as well.

-DropdownCallback entries can use a new entry "addString = <string>" now. The <string> will be added to the name of the dropdownentry. The localization files need the entries for them too! This way you can easily add a suffix like "(medium)" or "(light)" or "(ring)" or "(neck)" to the armor/jewelry stuff to distinguish the traits/body parts of different armor classes.

ALL other entries of the filterInformation table will be used exactly the same for each of the filterType entries! If you need to use other parameters within filterInformation for each filterType you need to call it like today, split up into own tables + eacht ime a call to AdvancedFilter_RegisterFilter!

-Show the currently visible/filtered item count at the inventory's bottom info line. Where the inventory bag current space / total bag space is shown there is another dark orange (currently shown itemcount) entry now.
This works with AdvancedFilters filtered items (menu buttons, submenu buttons, dropdown filters).
FCOItemSaver and FCOCraftfilter are supported.

If you want your filter addon to upodate the AdvancedFilters filtered itemCount as well you can use the following function:

-Drodpown filter can now reset the filters to "All" before the chosen dropdown filter gets called, via the parameter "filterResetAtStart".
If you are using e.g the filterStartCallback function this can come in handy to reset the visible inventory list rows to all before you apply the filter of the dropdownbox.
The parameter "filterResetAtStartDelay" defines how many milliseconds the chosen dropdown filter will wait until it gets applied after the reste to "All". The standrd value is 25ms.

You need to register the parameters in the dropdownCallbackTable with the following names:

filterResetAtStartDelay= number (milliseconds to delay)

LibMotifCategories-1.0 -> buggy: Motif filters in the dropdown filter box (especially new ones) may not work properly! ALL OTHER FUNCTIONALITY IS NOT AFFECTED BY THIS LIBRARY AND WILL WORK!

Known incompatibilities:
  1. Addon "Multicraft": Please disable this addon as it is breaking other addons now and is not compatible with the game anymore. The Vanilla UI multicrafting, added by ZOs with Scalebreaker, is able to multicraft for you now!
  2. Harven's Stolen Filter: Please try this version instead of the original Harven's Stolen Filter. It should work with AdvancedFilters

Known bugs:
  1. The subfilter icons are not shown: This is no real bug by the addon but a game's problem with cached textures.
    Logout, delete the file shader_cache.cooked (or similar) in the live folder (see above at How to install an addon/library manually to find the AddOns folder, then navigate to it's parent folder which will be the "live" folder). Login again (could take longer now as the ShaderCache get's rebuild).
  2. LibMotifCategories might not work properly and thus the motif filters will not work properly (especially for new motifs)
  3. Enchanting station lua error: user:/AddOns/AdvancedFilters/main.lua:327: attempt to index a nil value -> FIX: See "Known incompatibilities" -> "Multicraft" above
  4. Sometimes the guild bank withdraw panel does not show any subfilter buttons enabled even if there are items. Not quite sure how and when this happens. ONly had it once today, maybe it's already fixed. If you find out how to reproduce this, please tell me so I can fix it (if it's still there as an error). Thanks
  5. Using CraftBagExtended: First open mail and select the craftbag so the last opened panel at mail sent was the craftbag. Then go to the inventory and open the craftbag in inventory and select a subfilter, select the inventory afterwards again! Then directly switch between inventory ->mail craftbag (last opened before was CBE panel) by using the mail keybind. The correct craftbag filter will be shown but the subfilter bar is missing.
  6. Open bank, change filter to e.g. consumables, choose subfilterbar button e.g. potions.
    Switch to deposit panel.
    Close bank.
    Open bank.
    Withdraw panel is shown at consumbales with the subfilter bar button potions enabled, but the items shown reflect to the "All" filter (filtesr are not re-applied on bank re-open).

Okay, thanks for the heads up. As I said I would have wondered a lot if AF touches and changes any anchors of non vabilla inventory related addons

I installed nothing but AF, TOM, LDR, and UHT and their respective libraries. I was not able to reproduce the issue. I'll do some more investigating and get back to you if/when I find the conflict.

Edit: I just pasted all my settings back in from before my Profiler crash mentioned in another thread. It all works now. It must have been a bad SavedVariable that I purged.

Not at all sorry. AF is not related to any custom addons, only the vanilla UI inventories.
I'm not using any of those addons bso I do not know what looksa normal and what doesn't ,sorry.

Did you try with ONLY AF + needed dependencies enabeld + the 1 addon like Ulrichs hireling timer?
Please tell me steps how to reprocude it with one of the "simple" addons you named here, like Leos Dolmen Runner.
Does it happen directly after login? What settings do I need to use in leos and AF?
You could setup both so the problem happens (WITH ONLY THOSE 2 ADDONS ENABLED!!!) and logout, send me the SavedVariables fles of both addons (you can replace the @accountname in the SV file if you like to @anonymous if you do not want to send me your accountname) to
[email protected]

But I really doubt it's AF which is causing this.
It looks like the addons do not anchor their controls properly as the problem happens.
And AF is not touchign any other addon's anchors?

Hi Baertram!

I found that disabling Advanced Filters - Updated resolved some of my UI issues. Unfortunately I can't leave it disabled because of how awesome it is!

All of my addons are up-to-date. I have all of the pre-requisite libs installed (and they are up-to-date). I do not use any of the known conflicting addons. I also read everything in the sticky.

When Advanced Filters - Updated is enabled, the UI of Urich's Hireling Timer, TOM - Tamriel Online Messenger, and Leo's Dolmen Runner - LDR gets messed up as seen below.

Could the keep recall stones be added to Consumables -> Trophies (ITEMTYPE_RECALL_STONE)? I was expecting it to be there since the IC recall stone is too and had some trouble finding it in my inventory at first.

Yeah, I just reinstalled everything, minion (I was using x64 version) replacing it with 32b instead
and deleted all the libraries with the addon, then I download it again and bingo!

It seems your dependencies are not enabled or installed properly, especially "LibFilters 3.0"!
ALWAYS logout BEFORE updating or installing libraries or addons please!
Check the "HOWTO" section in the sticky post above to get help and a howto enable/disable/auto enable (after installing) the dependencies.

If the error persists after that try to manually install the addons and libraries/dependencies:

-> Maybe Minion was buggy and did not download or extract all files properly. This had happend quite often in the last weeks.
YOu could also try to uninstall the addon via Minion and reinstall it then. Same for the needed dependencies.

"Please read this before posting a bug comment"

logout and Close the eso game before updating or installing libraries. They got txt files which the addon manager is not updating properly if you are still logged in. As the dependencies get build as the game client starts it always safer to have it closed, at least as libraries are updated/installed new.
AddOns can have the same problem so better first install and update and then start the game client afterwards.

Yes.
Update the dependencies by installing always the newest versions. Just like addons. Put them into the live/AddOns folder, just like normal addons as well, and it will find and use them.
I realise that, but what if I'm already running the latest version of LibCustomMenu?
Maybe define what is your problem then?
AF needs Lcm 682 or newer, newest available version is 692.so you have 10 versions newer available for download, and your problem is exactly what now?

Just enable it ingame in the addon manager at the bottom at the libraries section?
