Version: 0.6
by: hyperiong [More]
Description
Hyperion Combat Master (HCM) is a set of useful features to help improve one's combat effectiveness. All features are independent of each other and can be toggled and customized to your needs.

Features
- Active Bar Indicator : Keep eyes on what's happening rather than your ability bar.
- In Combat Indicator : Don't get caught off-guard.
- Power Indicator : See how powerful you are.
- Global Cooldown Indicator : NEW! Master weaving, unlock your potential.
- Rapid Maneuver Auto-Assist : Save time, get around faster on foot and mount!

Tired of fumbling over bars when the game gets unresponsive? Then try out the Active Bar Indicator!
Want to keep up to date on damage boosting procs and buffs in battle all in one convenient number? Or, compare different setups' stat and damage difference more easily? Then the Power Indicator is for you!
Feel like you waste too much time between skills in your rotation? Want to learn weaving or become even better at it? Become a master at weaving with the Global Cooldown Indicator.
Want to have Rapid Maneuver at hand when not only riding but also when running around? Get around faster and safer with Rapid Maneuver Auto-Assist!

Explanations of features can also be found in the addon menu in-game (optional: type /hcm).

If you found this addon useful, let others know about it!
Also if you have any feature request, tell about it in the comments. Be it an improvement on an existing feature or something new you'd like to see in an addon that would ease one's burdens.

RM not working. Skill not activating.

[EDIT]

[ Nevermind. My mistake. I guess the API probably doesn't allow for automatically activating the skill. I realize now that this is intended behavior and the user is meant to manually select the skill.]

Thanks for the addon contribution.

It seems RM no longer works. It's slotting the skill correctly but doesn't activate the skill. Possibly some changes on the game client side that increased the cooldown after skill swap, or it is mounting too quickly.

Are you still working on this addon?

Hello! You've got a lovely, nice, lightweight addon here that's very helpful!

I do however have two possible feature requests for your consideration!
  1. An option to scale the elements/icons, as at 4k resolution they are veeeeery tiny.
  2. An option to have rapid maneuver switch back to your bar about 5 seconds before gallop expires so that there's no buff downtime while travelling. Right now it seems we have to spam bar swap as the buff is expiring to trigger a refresh, which can be problematic at times.

Thanks!

Thank you! I will add an option for account-wide settings to the TODOs, it'd be pretty handy. Should be added soon.

If the changelog is at the "changelog tab" it's easier to find and read it + addon managers liFixed nil data error Minion show it as well. It's more structured this way and easier to read in the smaller windows, if not shown inside a web browser here on www.esoui.com.

Many thanks.
Of course, started using that tab now.

Yes, "power" is not the exact damage, but more of a base/raw strength. For exact damage, there are more factors involved including skill used, crit roll, penetration, resistances and so on.

I've been considering baking in crit and penetration into "power" but I'm not so sure it would be a more helpful number...

Of course! It is a combination of weapon/spell damage ("damage") and magicka/stamina ("max stat"), whichever is highest.

The "power" indicator basically converts "max stat" to "damage" and adds them together. Based on the information that both "damage" and "max stat" affect your damage done and that 10.5 "max stat" = 1 "damage", I think that it makes sense to do this to compare potential damage output.

For example:
26k stamina and 5k weap. damage give 26000/10.5+5000 = 7476 power (P)
28k magicka and 4k spell damage give 28000/10.5+4000 = 6666 power (M)
50k magicka and 2k spell damage give 50000/10.5+2000 = 6761 power (M)

Oh, and the P = Physical and M = Magical, to indicate whether it's based on stamina or magicka, respectively.
