Quiet Death, No Screams
Version: 0.01
by: Kelinmiriel [More]
Are you a tender-hearted animal lover who cringes when you hear the death cries of the virtual
creatures in ESO?

Then this addon is for YOU!

All it does is silence death screams (and other "effects") during (and for a few seconds after) combat.

Unfortunately, I haven't figured out how to recognize 1hp critters yet, like monkeys, but this is a start.

No libraries required.
Independent of language, except for this description - there are no settings or anything.
It just does what it does.

It changes the "Effects" audio track to zero during and for a few seconds after combat.

That's the audio track that includes the death screams. I chose to include combat as well as after combat on the concept that if you're fighting creatures, there's a chance you're fighting more than one of them, so you'll probably have some dying while you continue to fight the others. I suppose that might not be quite as bad, since you'd still have combat sounds going on as well, so might not hear the death screams quite as well.

I've been using this since I released it, and I'm not quite happy with how it performs, so I've been working on improving it. I'll be putting out a new version soon.
