Wykkyd Auto Repair will automatically repair your gear when you visit a vendor.

Features
  • Automatically repair your gear
  • Configurable to repair worn gear only
  • Configurable to report in chat or not
  • Set your repair threshold from 5% to 100% durability
Advanced Setting Controls (available in all Wykkyd Addons)
  • Save To Default - This feature saves a snapshot of your logged in character's CURRENT settings as a save set named SYSTEM DEFAULT.
  • Load System Default - This loads the current SYSTEM DEFAULT as your character's settings and effectively sets your character to MIMIC the SYSTEM DEFAULT. This behaves exactly like Mimic below, with the exception that the SYSTEM DEFAULT only ever changes when you manually save to it from any character, by clicking Save To Default.
  • Mimic... - This sets the current logged in character to adopt the settings of another character until this value is changed. This causes the logged in character's saved settings to reset every time you log in or Reload UI to be like the mimic'ed character. If you set George to mimic Bob, as you save settings on Bob while playing those settings will become George's settings too whenever you log into George. As you play George and change his settings manually, those changes become temporary unless you clear the Mimic box. This affords some fairly awesome opportunities for your play sessions.
  • Wykkyd's Preferences (where available) - This will Reload UI and set your active character to the basic settings that Wykkyd uses for that addon for his characters as his STARTING point, he customizes each character from there and you are encouraged to also do so.
  • Reset All - Resets all settings inside the Advanced Setting Controls section for that addon, for that character
Use of SYSTEM DEFAULT allows you to basically create system-wide default settings. I say "system" because these settings are not filtered by account name. So if three people share your computer, they all adopt the system defaults (if they selectively choose to do so). This is a "neat trick" for people with multiple accounts as it lets you share settings across all of them.

For example, if you log into your first character and set every Wykkyd addon up the way you want. Then in each you click "Save To Default", one by one. You've now established your "baseline", if you will. You can then log into each character you have (regardless of number of accounts), including that same first character, and inside each, in each addon, click "Load System Default". Now every single character will use the same settings. In fact, because you saved defaults from character 1 and then set character 1 to use those same defaults, even that character is inheriting the SYSTEM DEFAULT every single time it loads. This means if you're on character 7 and decide to change your default for all, all you have to do is tweak your settings and click "Save To Default" and every single character you set up this way gets those settings automatically.

WARNING: System Default, and Mimic, can be dangerous. As of this time this ALSO includes saved item sets, gear sets, quest header settings, tracked achievements... IE: it includes data saved by the addons too. THIS WILL BE CHANGING IN THE FUTURE to be more intuitive and robust. But I didn't want to delay this feature until that was 100% polished. After all, this is fairly useful as is.

Based on your feedback I've added two new setting options into the 2.5.1.0 release. Namely, you can now set a maximum gold threshold for auto-repair. This means if the total cost for auto-repair is 100g, and the threshold is 80g, auto-repair won't happen.

I did a bit of digging and the code for storing/retrieving the saved variables had some issues. A big one being that even when the auto-repair feature was was set to disabled, auto-repair would still happen. 2.5.1.0 should fix that, but let me know if you still see this issue.

Total transparency, at this point I'm mostly looking at updating the mods to work with the current API. So updating files that have newer versions. Correcting issues with API/Objects that have changed. I'm not changing the functionality. Which is the long way of say, "The mod should be doing now whatever it used to do." Based on the age of the original mods and the updates to the game over the years... there may be some odd behaviors.

You spent 3k dollars? Somebody forced you to download the FREE addon, ungrateful bastard.

Thanks for updating, I patiently wait for the quest tracker

I'm working on updates for the latest patch for Wykkyd and all my others. Apologies to all, real life, I've been working as a government contractor for the past 10 months so I've been beyond insanely busy.

Merchant Asst Failure

My Merchant Assistant used to always fix my equipment just like any other Vendor in town, but she no longer is able to do so. I am getting the similar [AutoRepair] Worn Item [] repaired for: 84 g remarks where it DOES list my item but it does NOT repair the item, NOR cost me any gold. I'm glad it is not charging me gold for nothing but how do I fix this? Thanks and I love this add-on.

Auto Recharge can do that (and can also recharge your enchants) - http://www.esoui.com/downloads/info1...arge.html#info

I learned from comments in the MailR addon that bracketed links were changed, back in November I'm guessing. I now use Zolan's Auto Repair, which had the same issue with bracketed links. I was able to correct it in that addon by changing LINK_STYLE_BRACKETS to LINK_STYLE_DEFAULT in the lua file. The item names aren't bracketed anymore, but it now shows the names of the items and they are still clickable links. For anyone using Wykkyd Auto Repair and having this issue, you may be able to open the lua in Notepad or something similar and make that change to fix the issue in your local version of the addon.

Repair the broken gear via soul gems

Hello,

Can you add a feature to auto repair during striving and battle my gear?

If a piece of gear falls under a certain percentage then use soul gems, to repair it.

Since I have often from level-up, left over smaller soul gems in my inventory, they shall be used 1st to automatically refurbish my broken gear pieces.

Yesterday it happened that I've delete a piece of custom gear, because the delete and repair buttons are next to each other.

Caveat: It might me a totally off topic add-on to protect me deleting worn gear without confirming yes / no before. I hope this Yes / No confirmation hasn't been shut of by any other farming add-on out of context, then ignore this idea. Otherwise, it might save yourself from unwanted deleting go worn gear.

Same Yes / No check would be great if I replace worn gear. At times I did attach rubbish from inventory by accident.

Cheers,
Michael

Great idea. I'll add it to my list.
