What if clicking on the recipe brought up a window, like clicking on an ingredient does, except instead of listing all the recipes it's used in, it lists the names of all characters who know the recipe, so it would list bob only. Then you could leave the indicators alone as they are now.

At the moment the only indicators for alts is a faded out check if this character doesn't know the recipe and an alt does. The situation I find myself most often in is having a handful of recipes this char knows, and I want to know whether my alt has them or not rather than wasting time banking them and switching characters.

Turn it on and talk to the banker in daggerfall - yep shes muted properly.
Go do a quest i've never done before, doesn't unmute. Unmute it manually. Talk to npc - automatically gets muted again. Tried several npcs, the addon always mutes stuff.

something ive notice while used in conjunction with InventoryGridView, the i,II,III, etc whan my items are RED, i cannot see the markings for recipe level. Is there another way to go about this? more of the red color, color the containing box?

Check that the addon is loaded? Sometimes Minion holds onto file handlers.
Not currently using minion, however, when looking at my AddOn list, there is now a license and Change Log out of date. Is it possible not all pieces zipped?...

First off, I gotta say: I love this add-on!! But I was just thinking of a couple of possible suggestions:
1) When looking through the guild store, an icon, just like in the inventory, that tells you if you already know that recipe. I know that you can just hover over the recipe, but this would make searching the stores a lot faster....

Unfortunately, after having a look see, it seems it's difficult to get the info on the loot slot item.
I'll keep digging into it, but for the moment, I'd have to say it's not next on the list.
