It is the profile selection for the "Show welcome message" and "Travel in front of the house" setting. But I see that this is very misleading and I will remove it in the next version.

Not sure I can follow. There is no "overlooming" profile anymore. Every module has its own set of profiles, and every character can individually chose an active profile per module.

Go to main PA add-on area. Create New Profile "Default 2". Go into PA Banking. No profile currently active, click drop-down to look at profiles. Only "Default" profile is listed "Default 2" is not there.
Is this as intended?
Yes this is intended. Every module has it's own set of profiles now.

PA and FCO Item Saver are the only...

PA and FCO Item Saver are the only add-ons enabled besides libraries. Deleted Saved Variables.
Character 1 has Profile 1.
Character 2 has Profile 2.
Character 1 changes something about Profile 1.
Log on Character 2, Profile 2 has the change even though still showing using Profile 2.

My chat does not seem to save/reload between characters, etc. Certain things like characters logging in/out do, but none of the actual whispers, zone, guild chat, party chat, etc.
Works fine, no errors known here.

Whether or not you have the Auto Meticulous on crafting scene turned on or off, if you don't have "enough CP" to slot it, you get this message. 2 times every time you activate, and 2 more when you leave, the station. Or, in other words, it spams the crap out of your chat window:
