Also genau der bug sollte mit dem patch auf 1.8.0 behoben worden sein. Vielleicht wurde es dir noch nicht gemeldet: tl;dr Bis vor ein paar Wochen konnte man gesperrte Glyphen im Verzauberndialog direkt per Klick entsperren. Das geht nicht mehr. Man muss ins zurück ins Inventar gehen und dort entsperren. Habs gerade ausprob...

You cannot disbale them and they should only occur if you use the settings menu to scan for ZOs locked items and migrate them to FCOIS lock marker icon. Or if you open a house bank bag, but then the settings to use ZOs standard locks is enabled! If you disable the ZOs locks in the FCOIS -> General settings it won't try to scan them...

I never did any performance tests to see if the difference between running an index nil check against a small database and pre-adding filters was actually noticeable in demanding situations (like big battles) but I will take your word for it and agree that any performance increase it brings certainly can't hurt, even if there wasn't...

It will only respect items marked with the "research" marker icon of the addon FCOItemSaver. 1) Can you please define what "Only marked with research by FCOItemSaver: ON/OFF" does? I think it means only consider those items available for research when considering if new items need to be crafted?
