Skill appears in red text with asterisk

I have a skill that is showing up in red in the Ability section: (Growing Swarm - Warden AOE). It's the only skill that appears in red text; it also shows low Avg and Max damage and there's an asterisk attached to it. Any idea what this indicates and what's causing this? Thx.

I turned all the other adds off, except for the libs, which I re-installed to be certain I had the latest version. I'm still getting the percentage in all three bars - mag, stam and health - and none of them move so as to indicate how much of each I have remaining. I re-started the game, and even my PC.
