Not sure if it has been asked before, or if it is possible in ZOS's API.
In WoW it was possible to profile memory useage for individual addons. I haven't really dug into it, but might that be possible for this addon, to show how much total memory was used, and then a breakdown of which addons are using how much?

At the moment my goal is to make the addon work naturally, without any additional user input, so i'd really like NOT to add special keybinds and stuff.

I don't think, that would be wrong. If the addon, embedding an unreleased github version, is the only one using LAM2, causing an error is correct in my opinion.
Maybe the check should cause the Lua error dialog?

I was thinking of setting a saved variable in an additional file of the standalone which will then set the version to 999 for developers.
If someone bundles it, the file doesn't get loaded and the default version is 0. It also needs to be included by hand at least once so it works.
Isn't this a bit too late?

Besides that the image is from an older vesion, I found it while working on your Potion Maker request: It happens if using it by a new character for the first time.

Oh man, ... Thank You. I first did not understand, what you are talking about. Until I downloaded with zip. There must be a mess up with my zipping script. Delete the pts folder. The version in the VotansKeybinder folder is the one that has to work.

After Dark Brotherhood Potion Maker doesn't seem to work with items that are in the Crafting Bags instead of in the current inventory or bank.
Note that the default UI is able to grab items out of the crafting bags.
Not surprising, as the crafting bag is new in 2.4 and needs to be explicitly handled.
