Update: MediaFire Google Drive What's new? I got rid of another pointless global. Why was Librarian reglobalising itself as LIBRARIAN in the first place? It makes no sense, it's very unnecessary, and everything works perfectly without that happening. Now if any other addon needs to interact with Librarian, it can do so via ju...

Update: MediaFire, Google Drive What's new? If you only use Librarian and not the utilities, this isn't a necessary update. Just for those who do. I realised I wasn't properly handling settings transfer in the merge scripts. Don't worry, the book handling was perfect (which is why I didn't notice this), but the settings were...

Update: MediaFire, Google Drive What's new? Figured out how to do the rename sorting like an actually intelligent person, using regex patterns which I'd almost forgotten how to use. Basically, this now covers even more stuff I realised was missing, but will also likely even (correctly) cover things I haven't intentionally suppo...

I did get it using new keybinds but it was ugly. It could only be used globally. I think that's why ESOUI has those contextual keybinds. So long as you bind Interface -> Character Windows to Alt (or some other key), though? You'll be fine. This is kind of a can't fix, and shouldn't fix scenario. There's no way around using the con...

@joshmiller83 That's so weird! For my partner and I both it shows up as , pressing alt works. It shouldn't be showing as unbound. I don't know what to make of that. I'll see what I can do. --- Edit --- It's using a default UI keybind, which is what I thought. User Interface -> Character Windows, known internally as UI_SHO...

Update: MediaFire, Google Drive What's new? Noticed that I flubbed the logic on keybinds in the main Librarian UI so that the read and mark read/unread keybinds weren't showing when they should. This didn't affect books themselves (which is why I didn't notice), just the main Librarian window. The rename sorting now handles bo...

@vecny.samotar MediaFire is safe. It's a commonly used and well-trusted site for file hosting. If you're worried about my file? Well, I could give you assurances but what are they worth? What I can tell you is that the only things in there that could be harmful are those that are used outside the game. That's the utilities. Whi...

Poop. Librarian isn't flagged to allow patches. Sorry. Is it okay if I do this here, still? Update What's new? This update is all about the sorting system. Specifically books being renamed for better sorting. So The Noble's Tale becomes Noble's Tale , The Gallant Steed: Part II becomes Gallant Steed : Part II, A Lovely Green...

Oh, would you look at that. I still don't know why I was locked out. That kind of hurt and scared me, frankly, as I'd never done anything that called for it. Even though I'm kind of used to that. I'll have to read my PMs eventually to find out what happened. Eventually. Not right now though as that would make me ill. Edit:...

Re: question
does this addon also cover nameplate settings? Yes! I was excited about that. It was covered dynamically through the system I use to build options support. Essentially, it doesn't directly support anything. ZOS' own systems tell my addon what it should support in 80 per cent of the cases. Only a scant few social options, and the c...

SetMeUp now saves dimensions and position information for all chat windows (not just the primary one, either). Hooray! I think that's everything chat related now, yeah? All chat tab information for all windows is covered. Such as name, interactive, locked, filters/channels, and so on. All chat windows have their position and dimen...

Is it now saving chat tabs, chat colors, and chatbox position, or just some of those? All chat tab info (such as amount of tabs, tab names, tab purpose, tab categories), and cat tab colours at the moment. Chat window position isn't in there, but I could look at that.

FYI, Unified Chat Tabs hasn't worked in some time, but pChat will sync tabs and settings across your account. Really? Huh. Sometimes I forget which addons I've fixed locally that aren't mine. I do that a lot. Hm, pChat is a big, big addon just for saving tabs, though. I'll consider adding that functionality into SetMeUp.

I did the thing! I mean, the vulgar, special snowflake custom-built options (grump, grump, grump) are now supported. For most people, this means that you can now be happy about chat colours being supported. Hooray! Bloody special snowflake options, sorry that took so long. It wasn't all that fun to research in ESO's code, nor to impl...

Hi, love your addon a lot! I hope you can support chat colour in the future because it's the most painful thing :D Thanks! I don't actually think it's possible without specifically adding each one individually. That's something I'd rather not do. It seems the social panel uses some special snowflake 'custom' fields that no other o...

Thanks for this addon. I've been hoping for one like. Does this one save keybinds as well? I'm using Votan's Keybinder at the moment and I'm not sure if that is redundant. Also, does it save chat tabs and chat colors like pchat? I try not to step on the toes of other mod authors, so I don't do things that others have done unless I h...

Hiya. Lovely work done on this, super appreciate it. Would it ever support the indices for DLC zones, though? For example, it thinks I'm in Aurbis when in Orsinium, et cetera. I had a look at the code, myself, but how it handles the zone indices left me scratching my head. It's too much of a headache for me since I Don't want to have...

Hi Ayantir. With the news dialogue, you're handling the frame but not the scene. It took me some exhaustive testing to track it down. Basically, you're hiding the news frame, but it has a scene attached. Which means that most UI elements will remain hidden until you press escape. Pressing escaping on the news dialog closes both the s...

@Wastel Oh, no worries. It's completely okay. I wish I'd known to tell you. Sorry! Yeah, so 'No, Thank You!' has its own extremely basic bug handling functionality. If it's enabled, it messes with BugCatcher's ability to do anything. You have to turn it off. I'm using 'No, thank you!' and with those features turned off the two co-...

@Wastel The plot thickens. This is bizarre. I really am wondering if you're getting errors before BugCatcher even has a chance to load in. Those are some virulent errors. I've never heard or seen anything of the like, but I do want to help. Okay, try typing... Type: /showbugs What do you get (and in the chat window, too)?...

@Wastel No worries. So long as you're not demanding new features it would be stressful for me to code in, generally I'm going to want to help. I think that's the thing that breaks me the most. And I really do want to help. Okay, so let's scientific method this, okay? What we're going to try and do is figure out whether it's...

@Wastel I'm really not sure, it's working for me right now. I suppose it could be an unzip error. Try unzipping it with a different program and see if that helps? Other than that, I don't know? Hmmm... Okay, with unzip-related issues ruled out, what other addons are you running? Perhaps you have an addon that's screwing with...

Nice work! Keep it up. :D Although I did not read through the entire description (I am diagnosed ADHD as well) -- the parts I read sounded great! I know what that's like. My ADHD are filter/focus related issues. In regards to addon coding, I make silly typos, miss commas, that sort of thing. Even though I do my best to keep my co...

Got back recently after a long time not playing ESO. I spotted this error, too. And I have a theory that seems to have stopped the errors, at least for now. In the first line of your OnUpdate, you have: if ( g_render_reticle ) then This OnUpdate seems like it might be firing before owned_icon possibly fully, properly exists. T...

That's actually all super helpful, merlight. Thank you! Looks like I have my work cut out for me... I know I've been slacking again, lately, but I've been working on getting my partner immigrated to the UK. And with all the EU referendum nonsense going on, things have been... a nightmare, frankly. I will get back to sorting all th...
