Yes, mass refine only uses the crafting bag at the moment. I plan to include the backpack later.

When deconstructing jewelry (that is clicking on "mass deconstruct") mass deconstructor will regularly try to refine some jewelry dust for some weird reason; note: I am not clicking on "Mass refine", only on "mass deconstruct".
When this happens, is the dust in the bank, backpack or crafting bag?

How about option to display / decon items on self only?
That's kinda of already in the options, but it's the option to also display/decon items in bank. With that option off the only items Mass Deconstructor considers are those in your bag.
I'm not sure how to only display the items in your bag in the deconstruct window.

Heya, sorry I've been so inattentive. If you turn on debugging (Settings > AddOns > Deconstuctor > Debug) and then go to a workstation and use Mass Refine, there should be some information there.

I can confirm none of the items that block the decon queue qualify as "special" - they are always parts from crafted sets, world drop sets or monster sets. But always set pieces, not random setless items. So I'm thinking there is a bug in there after all.

Intricate, on the other hand, get deconned 100% of the time when "Decon bound items" is off, even if "Deconstruct intricate" is off in the appropriate section (Blacksmithing, Woodworking etc.) I just tested with all three crafting workbenches, with all addons except MD disabled, and this behaviour is consistent.
