Since the latest ESO update, I did a little "spring cleaning" and got rid of some outdated addons.
Doing that I noticed that an even earlier version of the notebook addon you reference, this one, apparently uses a code synchronizing the addon across any ESO accounts on a computer.

This is exactly what I was looking for after buying a hobby guar. They're fun to ride in town, but suicidal in certain areas. Being able to toggle with a more sensible mount is perfect.

It's alright. :) I admit the UI could be improved, or at least I (or someone) could take a screenshot and add some text tips overlay for newcomer...

TL;DR No changes are necessary. Addon updated with the Description section to make sure users know to backup their Notebook and to use /reloadui after writing meaningful changes.

All the in the SavedVariables disappear for me when I logout/quit the game for just one character. All other characters the text remains. File size is 9KB currently if that has any bearing on why this happens.
Is that character using the Character-wide book or the Account-wide book? And those other characters?

To keep y'all in the loop, the addon is now updated. It has a counter at the bottom-right, and it prevents saving when over the limit. Details for this are at the addon description page.
I also added a guard, so there is no editing bug when trying to load a faulty page. =nil will display as empty string "" and let you edit normall...

Hmm, I thought the ~2k character limit had been taken care of for some reason. There's a lot of characters that are invisible if they're not pasted into the text editor from the saved vars files, such as carriage returns.
Hrm, I wonder if the new 1984 limit would still let people lose their data then. But how low would I take it.....

Thanks for the compliments! This Notebook lets you move pages up/down, so you can better organize them, unlike the old addon. Adding actual notebooks is not planned or wanted. If anything, I'd consider more options to help sor...

Please add the Notebook2018 version number to the name of the file which you upload to ESOUI.
You can see and select all previous versions of the addon in the Other Files tab here. I chose to enable that feature specifically for this need. :) I'm not interested in changing file names and so on, as it's enough of a buggery.
