I don’t know if this is possible, but could the “Hide Helmet” be toggled by location? I know the map switches when you go into the cities from the region map to a city map. Could that be used as a trigger? I’m thinking something like “Ah, civilization. I can take off my helmet because someone isn’t going to try to bash my head in.”
