can we re-coloring the player position pin?
 

Until yesterday i was using AUI Minimap. But for a strange reason, the zooming function now does not work anymore.
The minimap have to be manually tricked to show up correctly in any cities, outside area or dungeons. And some pins appears now where they should not.

I loved this addon mainly for one big function : i was able to colorize the player position pin, aka MAP_PIN_TYPE_PLAYER.

I have bad eyes and the colored teal icon is becoming more than a problem, i barely see it on the map, so i am often searching for a very long time my position on the map.

But, with the problem of zooming, i changed the addon. The one i got is a truly great one too. But it does not have the function to colorize this pin and i doubt the author would be open to add it as i know he wants to keep its minimap very clean.

So is there a way to create a little addon just to change once and for all the color of the MAP_PIN_TYPE_PLAYER. I have already a .dds done.

In short: you wish to change the color and/or size of the player position pin.

Yes :P:P seems so easy when you say it :p

It's only a texture to replace, maybe a SetDimensions, but not really hard to do.

But do your part ? you can also provide us a nice pointer you got in mind for that usage.

Hint: Google may help you.

On google right now :)) i may create one too if you find it suitable.

The one created by AUI authors is great and surely much better, but i do not want to break any rule by using it without their consent, and they are not online since long now. So ... LOL mine will do i hope
