Minion for Mac
 

I have had this imac for about 3 months now and Minion worked perfectly until patch 1.5.

I loaded minion everyday before playing to get the latest updates then about a month ago I loaded up and it said that you were upgrading minion so of course I wanted to but it started to do what was expected and then turned off so I waited and waited and waited but nothing happened. So the next time I chose to skip the upgrade and it did as before showed me I had 6 patches to install but never finished do its checking so I could not install the patches.

I have been on holiday for 3 weeks and come back hoping it had been sorted out in my absence but no its exactly the same.

Sorry you're having trouble. I'll need a couple files from you to try and figure out what is happening.

• go to your applications folder
• open the utilities folder
• find the "terminal" application and open it
• in the terminal type the following: open ~/.minion
• a new folder will open with some files inside.
• attach the minion.xml and minion0.log to this post

Can you also provide a screenshot of Minion of where its getting stuck?

I have done this twice now and all it says is that:

-bash: /Users/jameshills-avery/.minion: is a directory

nothing else happens

I have taken screenshots but I cannot figure out how to post it to these forums

When you go to post a new message, scroll down a little bit, you'll see "Attach Files" as an option below the message window. Use that. :)

Hi Lonyn,

looking at your logs it seems you are running an older version of Minion. Are you prompted to update Minion when it starts?

If updating doesnt work I would delete Minion from your applications folder and re-download the latest version (2.0.15-beta) from http://www.minion.gg
