Just read the last Ask me Anything and few feedback especially on the UI :



Console :

• No Addons for consoles
• Some addons functionnality embedded in original game (the devs are especially quoting LootDrop !)

Poor console players. I can hardly live anymore without some addons ;-)
I hope they will integrate some nice ones for console players.

I had heard that console players would not be on PC servers?

Have you read that has changed?

Last I read, this is correct; console players get their own megaservers (NA and EU), and can only play on the megaserver for the territory they're playing from. (No word on which megaserver Oceania will be assigned to.)

Microsoft & Sony customers being put together in the same place will never happen. Even if Sony was willing for it to proceed (which is highly unlikely) Microsoft would never do it.

Basic principle of economics is to say we can do this and that better than our competitors without the customer base actually ever trying the competitor option. To put both together on the same server means a potential loss for either Microsoft or Sony.

I've seen this before when I was playing on PS3. The consoles are intentionally locked down to prevent user modification of code. Allowing addons would be a backdoor to bypass that. IMO this is a bad attitude on the part of the console makers and it costs them customers but I guess they get to decide how they will "serve" their base.

With my PC and Xpadder, I haven't even turned on my console in months, let alone upgraded to PS4.
