Guard Nameplate Visibility
 

Hello! Can anyone make an addon that will make guards nameplates visible and stand out more, like when you have "Neutral NPC's" nameplates set to visible, but make it so only guards appear and not every neutral NPC? If that's even possible.... I am currently leveling dark brotherhood and thieves guild skill lines and it would be great to know when a guard is on the prowl near me as I currently am bad at pickpocketing and usually have a bounty haha. :D

Afaik nameplates cannot be changed via addons

Zenimax does not allow mod authors to alter the name plate text color or size, only the font. The font applies to all the nameplates, not just the guards.

You can try AdvancedNameplatesGreymoor and adjust the in game settings, but it's not going to do exactly what you want.

Hello, while its not the nameplate my addon Player role indicator adds icons above players.
I intended to add a feature soon that would allow you to make custom roles, such a feature would let you put an icon on a specific player in the group.
So if player X was the person you intend to guard, you could add them to this role and see an icon at/above their position.

While I cant make any promises I intend to implement this feature by/on this coming Monday.

Well, this would not help if you want to see the "guards" in cities more easily, as you cannot invite them to your group :D

Miss read the question, thought he was talking about using guard on a player :D.

As a work around you could maybe:
- commit a "small" crime, so the guards become enemy npcs
- change settings for enemy npcs
