What to do if STEAM

I am puzzled how I can install Add Ons when my account is via Steam.
I downloaded Minion and there is no explanation of what to do with it (Thanks Minion)
ESOUI has all these people writing about the installation but it is such a mix up and so complicated and it tells you oh well, now you put this into the folder...... when I don't even have such a folder and cannot imagine just making a folder called Elder Scrolls Online Add Ons and it will put it in there

In short - I am lost
Well I gave Minion and ESOUI the business of having a new member:banana:
Now I can go away and get lost
(I have spent the last three hours trying to find the add ons Einstein menu)

If the folder AddOns does not exist you need to create it manually, correct.

Where do you need to create it? Check the help, or wiki, or google, or minion threads, or or or :-)

3) Steam
Forum search for steam, read 3 threads which got to do with Minion:

I had ESO installed through Steam.
The folder wasn't being found, even when I manually added it.
I tried deleting the .xml file.

What did work for me:
In settings you can select the folder search depth that Minion will use to find the folder.
I moved this up to a depth of 6.
I then clicked force Minion to redetect addOns.
Closed Minion.
Ran Minion.
Folder was found.

Hope this helps

Okay the CORRECT path was C:\Users\<username>\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns\
Notice that path is Documents, not My Documents.
I noticed this was stated before, but when I go into Windows Explorer and navigate to
C:\Users\<username>\ there is a My Documents displayed in there, but not Documents.
Specifically, Windows displays the Documents folder as "My Documents", but the folder name is literally "Documents".
That was my point of error.

I have ESO on steam and had zero issues. If you download addons via minion they install for you, no moving of anything. If you download via esoui website, extract the first directory in the archive to C:\Users\*YOURNAME*\Documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
