Want to add particles to inworld entities - how do I do that?
 

For example, if I wanted a certain type of lootable item to have a different texture set or particles, how would I go about doing that?

Do you really think developer(ZOS) can allow such modifications for a MMO?

Not doable, As said, 3D engine cannot be modified (we're in a MMO).

Considering several people already told you you are a jerk she might be right :D (even if you managed to answer her question somehow).

Yet that was very cruel to spot him as such as soon as his 1st post. He only have a few hours window to look like an expert to a noob who starts browsing the wiki.

I'm sorry but i'm completely amazed that you can even think this has any kind of relevance on ESOUI forum.

As for the OP question, even if she can't recolor particles, she could still color the text when pointing at the loots as Ayantir did for 'Flowers she likes" or even add a colored texture. No need to jump on your high wooden poney at her question.
