What is currently missing in ESO? What could be done better? We'd like to write a new ESO addon, but don't have the inspiration right now!

Well, this thread has a request for a world map enhancement that I think would be pretty awesome. Feel like figuring out how to float those labels appropriately? ;)

better fix and maintain some old usefull abandoned addons

Yep! That's exactly what we need!

We'd been considering writing a new addon similar to Destinations that's a user-curated "guidebook" for everything

we already have Map Pins like alternate addon
about addons that was abandoned but they was pretty good

Raetia Info Hub - still working with fixes from comments, but need more love to add new things like jewelry research timers. version from minion completely broken. Alternate addons are not so good - Wykkyd tool bar still abandoned(must be revived soon), Info Panel has some bugs and not so huge customizable like Raetia

FilterIt - great alternate addon to replace Advanced filters, but in the past... right now abandoned and broken. I think we need more than one inventory management addons, now we have only one, no competitions

JunkIt - best junk addon for all ESO history completely abandoned for a long time, right now we have Dusman yes, its great, and some other addons, but they cant even lay near JunkIt in customization and option, you can create alot of junk rules in JunkIt - yes they looks complicated, but anyway, if you try it once, you will stay with it forever

Who updated last time was online 2 months ago so can we say it is abandoned? Last updated for Dragon Bones.

P.S. all addons of Phinix need co-author
he has inability to work on them...
and all of them is essential and unreplaceble

There are many other inventory management addons, but they are not FilterIt and this is the reason.


It's up to yourself which addon you want to revive but I'd maybe concentrate on the ones which got no working alternative, and ask in the official ESO forums, not here -> If you really want to start a new "project".

I'll just go ahead and add Bank Manager Revived to the list.

As for the Info Hub, FilterIt and JunkIt, I think there are great working alternatives available for those who need them.

A friend wants to make his highend house more useful aka social.
Therefor he asked for a gaming addon.

Raw Ideas:
- Framework to add board games like, tick tack toe,...
- eso group as playing party and p2p communication
- win/lose gold to have a challenge
- plug-in concept to allow others to port games
- ...

Although , the perfect solution might be, that ZM would add a gaming table furniture with such a gaming functionality :banana:

this addon also have unique features, alot of them, but its broken and abandoned

about new project idk if such addon exist but its mine concept:

concept -
similar to Greyming quick slot bar, but for Interract with player Wheel, with addition of ignore and guild invite
with ability to bind every button to hotkeys
not only when you look and very close to the target, but from range(except trade/duel ofc)
and even if you away from any players, be able to do those actions with last target you saw(may be do this optional)
settings to setup a set of a buttons you need
option to make only one guild button instead of 5, but with settings to choose which of your guilds will be linked with it
with chat notifications on any actions, also optional
be sure to put cooldowns for buttons, some social requests have like 3 sec cooldown, like ignore/unignore or guild invites
dynamic pictures - ie gray guild button if you cant invite in guild linked with button
also ignore/friend/group button must change pictures too if you looking at already ignored/friend/member of group
option to disable all buttons and all interractions at all in combat

A status somewhere on the screen showing whose house I'm in, e.g. "@UserName - Hunding's Palatial Hall." As far as I know there is no way to tell whose house you're in once you port there.

I personally like this addon very much and I dont find any other addons who look similar like this one.

So I and I think many others would be happy if someone will renew this addon.
