Can't uninstall minion
 

Having problems trying to uninstall minion to get the newer version. After uninstalling from control panel, I cannot delete the .minion folder. It keeps telling me it is in use by another application and to close it. ??? Well, had to do a system restore and now minion won't even open and all of the add ons I had installed are all missing except for pawkettes scrolling battle test. I am using windows 7.

Sorry to hear your having trouble.

For future reference restarting your computer (or killing the task in task manager) would have fixed that issue.

To help I'm going to need a little more information.

1. How is it not starting, can you explain what you see?
2. Do you get the splash screen?
3. Do you get to the loading screen with the progress bar?
4. Do you get an error?
5. Did it make a new .minion folder?
6. Can you post your minion.xml and minion0.log if it did?

Sorry, I didn't get back to you sooner. Anyway I finally got the problem resolved. For whatever reason there was a duplicate file of minion that I found, and that was keeping it from doing a clean uninstall I guess. Not sure why there was a duplicate, but anyway, Problem fixed. :)
