Can't install Minion. Getting errors. [SOLVED]
 

Hi,

I downloaded the installer of Minion 2.0.5 from this site and tried to install the program.
When I openen the file I instantly got this error message:




When I clicked 'Ok', I got this message:



Then I clicked 'Ok' again and the program was shut down.
I tried downloading it again and it didnt work, twice.
Is this a known problem? Any way to fix this?
Hope so, because the Curse Client doesn't know all the addons from this site.
Hope you guys can help me out.

Is your windows 32bit? Looks like it might be.

Try this download instead.

No, it is Windows 7 64bit.
Tried downloading and installing now with your link to see if it would work, but it doesn't...
Getting the same error messages.

Sorry was some reason when I looked at this thread only the 2nd picture was showing.

The first picture tells me its a permission issue. Try right clicking on the exe and running as an admin.

Still the same errors.
But I solved the problem now, disabled my Comodo Internet Security and now it works.
Comodo never came up that it was blocking it or that it found something...

Install Fail
 

This is the error I'm getting after I get to the finish, launch Minion page of installer, and it rolls back...any advice?

running W8.1 PRO
ran in compatibility/trouble shooting mode no luck :confused: same for running as admin

Thats an error you get if you are running a 32bit version of windows. The main download is 64bit only.

This little pet installed and updated it's self...it did not find all the addons I was running so I just re-installed them via the Minion. I'll post if I run into any anomalies with the little guy since he's still in training. But thank you so much.:banana:
