Can not find the minion.xml
 

I have looked in the .minion folder and the only file listed is a log file. I am having issues with minion but I can't completely troubleshoot without the .xml file. Could it be somewhere else or is Minion just not creating it? Which could be a separate but related issue?

If the xml is missing you were no able to start Minion properly once and i wa snot created, due to blocking antivirus or whatever.
Check the troubleshooting sticky thread of Minion and read what to do if antivirus/firewall blocks e.g.

In your Minion.log file you could check (with a text editor) if you find anything like "access" or "blocked" in an error message too, which indicates that.

I have not been able to get minion to run correctly since install. I have added Minion to my exceptions to my firewall and anti-virus. It will show up in my task manager but won't launch.

The log file unfortunately neither says anythign except that it tries to start Minion and then "nothing":

Do you also use Norton Antivirus or any other Norton product?

I do not have any Norton products. Only windows defender items
