Database Error clicking on Updated Addons
 

I am unable to download today's updated addons! I get a database error page clicking on any of my favorites that have been updated today!

Seeing a ton of Votan's addons showing as updated at the exact same time, but clicking on any of them just throws an error. In minion they do not show as updated but clicking on visit website also ends up throwing an error in the browser. I assume this is what you meant? It's so weird.

download it with minion.
i done it before and all working.
you cant open the website if you click on votans addons.
other addon sites working, only votans addons has a problem.

Yeah but that wouldn't be an updated version though if the addons are indeed updated.

Issue for me is that Potion Maker requires a new library that I can't find and cannot check the addon notes to see what has happened.

Workaround would be to install the addon and then check ingame what library it is missing.

I know what library it is - LibAlchemyStation but I can only see Lib Alchemy and that isn't the right one :(

That is weird. Yeah, there is no such library on esoui..

I tried pming Votan but he is offline now.

Here's what Votan's Addon Helper says:

Then it's just the information in minion that is undated (it can't pull the new details basically since the links are broken)

Scratch that, it seems to have pulled the correct info now. At least the update dates, dunno about the changelog or the descriptions.

You can "manually" download the newest zip file via this trick:

Move the mouse above the addon and check the link. There is written "info" and after that a number in the link, e.g. 405 for Potion Maker
Use this link "base" then and attach the number and a / a t the end:
So this will be:
Paste this into your browser's address bar and the zip file should be downloaded.

In this example I got
PotionMaker_v5.8.0.zip

Unfortunately one cannot download older versiosn without knowing the filename etc.
You should always make a backup of your AddOns folder before updating them, like sync them to another dir once a day so you can go back easily.
Takes like 1 min max to copy&paste the total folder.
And disable Auto Update of addons within Minion, if you do not really need it...

But:
The Libs folder is missing the LibAlchemyStation library. It's totally empty.
So there seems to have been a problem at the upload and the zip file(s) may be incomplete/broken.

I've uploaded the LibAlchemyStation from the version before here for you guys:

For Potion Maker you also need the following libs installed:
LibAddonMenu-2.0
LibAsync
LibCustomMenu
LibMainMenu-2.0

Should be fixed now, there is a bug when you remove game compatibly. So when the author removed compatibility for the previous game version it happened.

Yes, and other addons' of Votan.
I'm not sure why this is happening (and only for Votan's addons :confused:), already contacted the site admin to have a look at the SQL error message.

Should be fixed by now.
