[request] chat-translator
 

Hi there!
I keep running into groups that are unable to speak any foreign language (eg no english or german).
Thus i am searching for an addon that enables me to easily use google-translate to translate either the message i get or the one i have just written (but not sent) on clicking a button

is something like that even possible?
Does anyone feel inclined to give it a try? Sadly i am not much the programming guy.

You can shift+click on the icon that allows you to copy chat messages and it will directly send you to google translate.

Translations ingame "directly" aren't possible as you'd need to include a huge database of translated strings somewhere in your SavedVariables which would make each loading of the addon really slooooooow.
And sending data to external servers directly AND getting the info back into the game/chat isn't possible without using the SavedVariables and a reloadui.

So the best possible solution will be the addon linked by sirinsidiator.
