[Feature] Refresh addon data
 

It would be nice to have some kind of refresh button to:

• Check for updates
• Refresh "Find more" tab
• Rescan for installed addons

For now, I have to restart minion to do this and that's really annoying when you only want to check if there is a new update for addon xy, after finding a bug that could already be reported by others, or you want to browse through the available addons while waiting for something (a "last updated on" and "first uploaded on" filter would be nice for this, and as far as I have seen, at least the latter one is already planned :)).

Thats our plan to eventually get there. So people can just leave Minion open and get updates automatically with out having to close/open and have fresh find more data.

I would love to see this feature to re-scan for currently installed add-ons

I just installed the Beta and had add-ons installed previously. The Minion detected 3 of the 7 add-ons currently installed. I wanted to re-scan to verify. Also i manually removed the add-ons and they still showed up in Minion, even after a full exit and restart of Minion.

Add from myself, that should add the ability to delete addons together with their settings by Minion. Immediately after removing the addon installed it must be found in minion.xml manually (and there all encrypted) on some grounds, and even then the settings manually carry in AddonSettings.txt + delete the configuration file in the addon SavedVariables.

i agree, the resfresh is the biggest missing feature

The self refresh capability should be great but a button is good too :)
