Cannot get Minion to Work I am baffled
As instructed my minion.xml and minion.log log file are attached.
Reinstall the program multiple times
Run the program as Administrator
Changed the folder depth to the maximum depth
Manually added the addon folder at C:\users\name\documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\addons
The log file suggests it has found some addons and missing dependencies for the addons.
However, my screen in Minion is still blank.
I see and can use the addons in the game itself.
I am running
I have tried both the 32 bit and 64 bit versions.
Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Eiher yo are using outdated and old addons on purpose where there are several librraies included in subfolders or your Minion xml file is really broken :-)
e.g. Destinations + JP patch or Teamformation. Both with subfolders libs/LibAddonMenu -> Do not use these anymore...
Deinstall Minion, rename the folder c:\users\...\appdata\Minion where your Minion.xml and .log files were taken from.
Install Minion 32bit! to another folder than the standard folder! e.g. c:\Minion
Add this folder to your antivirus and firewall whitelists.
Read here how to find your correct ESO addons folder:
Start Minion, add the game ESO, choose the folder you have found that the game really uses (e.g. via the "take a screenshot ingame" method).
Setup Minion to scan for the maximum folder depth (like you did before but the Minion.xml file is new now so you need to reenable this!).
Let Minions can for the games, wait several minutes.
If it does not show any games, close Minion after e.g. 5 Minutes and restart it.
If it still does not show anythign restart it again, several times.
After some time it should show all addons.
If not: Your antivirus or pc software is blocking stuff OR you got any addon installed that breaks minion.
Upload the NEW minion.xml file then here and let me have a look at it please.
Will execute your instructions and report back.
Removed all Add Ons except one (GrimFocus)
Searched PC for any reference for Minion and deleted any found.
Disabled Anti Virus (Kapersky)
Installed Minion to C:\Minion (installed as Administrator)
Ran Minion as Administrator (with maximum directory search set)
Minion did not find folder automatically
I added folder manually (C:\users\name\documents\Elder Scrolls Online\live\AddOns
Stage 1 = nothing populated in Minion
Closed Minion, waited 8 minutes
Stage 2 = updated Minion per screen prompt
Log scan = everything worked.
Thank you again for your assistance, I used this year's ago, and pleased to be able to utilize it again.
Your continued support is most appreciated.
